When i stepped down quicker than I could vape what I had ordered, I ordered 0 nic or very low nic in the ones I loved and mixed them down so I wouldn't feel like I had wasted money.
It also makes a nice excuse to experiment with mixing flavors. Mix a couple together and come up with a winner combination or dump it down the drain and be closer to ordering more KJ muhaha.
I ordered a bunch of 0mg and used quite a bit of it to either drop higher nicotine or flat out experiment. Strawberry/RY4 smack someone delicious whereas Boysenberry/milk chocolate didn't work out so well. I wanted more marshmallow in my hot cocoa? Added some 0mg marshmallow juice .
To be honest it was because I dropped to 0 nicotine faster than I was ready (dropped from 12 to 6 to 0 in about a month) and use my mistake as the lemonade factor. I now keep a tank of ~9mg ( 80%12mg ry4,20% 0mg ripe strawberry) nicotine strawberry tobacco with me for those stress moments where 3mg, or less, will not cut it and have a bunch of bottles of 0mg I mix a little into my 3mg stuff or leftover 6mg bottles I haven't finished yet to drop them to 3 or less. I'm still on track to be nicotine free by June but am now using my wicks/tanks to get the throat hit right that I lost with having less nicotine. Top fill tanks give me a warmer, harsher feeling than bottom feeders, much better at mimicking a cigarette during times of stress or weakness to fall back to cigarettes. T2 tanks with cotton yarn wicks do a very nice throat/chest hit at lower-0 nicotine. Blue Moon Ice Cream in a T2 clearomizer is the best at mimicking the feel of a cigarette for me at 3mg. I even have to exhale twice to get all the "non air" out. I don't even have to draw anymore than a second or 2 to get my lungs filled, just like when I used to smoke.
