Try them when you first get them and see what you think. KJ uses a sonic shaker on most if not all their juices and that either reduces or does away with the need to steep.

I got them on Tuesday and a few are ok, but most have very little flavor. Are KJ juices supposed to be subtle, or do they need to steep longer? I can tell the tiny flavor in there seems good, but extremely muted??? Juicy fruit I can taste and berry chiller, but the chocolates and others are just an undertone.
Also, I got a sample of orange cream in the egg and that has flavor, so maybe the samples have been sitting. Any advice?

What flavors did you get? I find most chocolates need to steep but I am not sure if I have any of Walt's so can't tell you about those. I plan on getting some in the next order though. I don't find any of his flavors weak. Some are mellow but to taste like what they are supposed to, they need to be mellow... like Shamrock Shake... it is rich and creamy and then the slight bit of mint which what the McD shake is like. I actually found the berry chiller to be too strong for my tastes. I also find that my taste buds work better in the morning or after something salty like green olives or my salt and vinegar chips.

I will sample again in the morning and try to "cleanse" my pallet in between flavors. I find the chocolate to be more cocoa then milk chocolate.
Here is what I got:
BUBBLEGUM
CHOCOLATE CHERRY
CHOCOLATE ORANGE
MINT CANDY
BLUE MOON ICE CREAM
BANANA MILK SHAKE
KEY LIME PIE
WATERMELON
CARAMEL LATTE
CREAM SODA
CHERRY BERRY CHILLER
CHOCOLATE MINT
MILK CHOCOLATE
JUICY FRUIT
SHAMROCK SHAKE

Ill comment on all after I resample to be fair.

What do you people feel gives the best flavors- tanks, RBA drippers, or genesis style RBA's? My tanks( like mini pt 2) seem to have the cleanest flavor. I thought drippers (I have IGO-W and Helios) we're supposed to be the best, but I feel the cotton and this style gives "dirty" muted flavor. Thoughts?

I need to get a kayfun to compare.

Well, cream soda is going to be a light flavor because that is what cream soda is all about.

I got Shamrock Shake in my last order with the eggs and it was perfect the day it arrived. Blue Moon is I want to say soft mellow and creamy with just a tangy fruitiness at the very end. As I said before aboutthe cherry berry cooler... for me that one was way too strong. I chain vape and actually been considering a pipe mod but I go through 2 1300 batts a day and then a little on my 900 so I don't want anything wicked strong. I got my mint candy way back before Walt got his sonic shaker so I am not sure if it was used on the one you have or not. I know my mint candy seemed to take a long time to develop but it isn't over the top mint either it reminds me of those pastel mint candies and the same strength as they are. The rest I can't help with as I haven't tried them.

Me! :) ....

I have a very high tolerance.

Get out of here! I would be on the floor. Couldn't even handle 18mg. I smoked about a 1 1/2 packs per day.
Someone over in the reg e-liquid section was a 4 pack a day smoker.

How did you get up so high? Were you a wicked heavy smoker?

1 PAD Marlboro Lights. I chain vape 24 with no ill effects. I DIY 36 and can chain vape that too with no ill effects. I am awaiting WTA to see if that will help me.

At risk of jacking the thread...

While I can say 45mg seems terribly high to me, I've long wondered about how much nicotine a person is actually absorbing when they vape.

I gave up my 1/2 to 1 1/2 pack a day cigarette habit in October 2013 and started with 16 - 18mg. I still use 18mg in coffee flavors in the morning, but stepped down to 12mg for my afternoon/evening flavors. I still go to a 15-18 mg nic content juice to tame the monster if I'm having a real craving.

I don't really notice a nic buzz, nausea, or headache except in two circumstances:
1) I chain vape for an extended period
2) I use my 510 bridgeless atty to test a dozen flavors in one sitting (which I have done on multiple occasions - I just get so excited when I get vapemail!)

I've read that studies have been inconclusive on the absorption rate and that estimates range from 10% - 40% absorption rate and that full-flavor cigarettes deliver about 1.4mg per stick (absorbed). So, even if the absorption rate of nicotine from vaping is 40% and I'm using 12mg juice, I'd be getting the equivalent of 4.8mg per mL consumed, or <4 smokes...if absorption is 10%, I'd be getting the equivalent of 1.2mg per mL, or <1 smoke. I normally have a 'rotation' of flavors I use during the day and don't exactly keep track of how much I use in a day, but it can range 1.5-6 mL, probably averaging around 2.5 - 3 mL

The questions that have been bouncing around in the back of my head is "should I step down to 6" and "does it even matter as long as it's not making me sick and I'm not having cravings that drive me back to analogs" and, frankly "would the flavors come out better if the juice didn't have nicotine in it'?

btw - I'm a cigar smoker also. I've always enjoyed them, but really picked it up as a hobby during a previous 7-year break from cigarettes. Although I haven't had a cigar since right after I started vaping, I've got a humidor full that I'll either use or they'll be a nice, well-aged treasure for someone after I pass (hopefully still decades away). I've been tempted to break one out just to see if the nic affects me. I'm not sure how much of a test that would be, since cigars have never affected me the same as cigarettes.

Not necessarily expecting answers...just musing...

Got my order in, sure post is surely slow.

The 60/40 blend KJ uses is a little thin so I had to use a bit more cotton in my kayfun to prevent flooding.

Strawberry is what im using right now, not bad at all, will let it steep to bring out the flavor but it seems promising.

Baja Blast is spot on.

Strawberry shake is sweet but just tastes like chocolate cake for me, I dont really taste any strawberry.

I havent tried passion fruit or melon yet since I cant even smell them out of the bottle- will let it steep for a while.

I did win a coupon though =)

Im sure within a few weeks the flavor will come out much better- if not ill just request another 5% in flavoring. :vapor:
