After the tutorial you gave me, I have rewicked a few Protank 2 coils. I did ruin a couple in the process of removing wicks. They were used silica wicks and really packed with burned on residue and I pulled the coil out right along with the wick. The coil ends were just too short to put them back together, so I've got a couple of extra heads around if I ever decide to learn how to build coils.

I know you don't boil the yarn, but I think I'm going to boil a few feet of it and see if that changes the flavor. I do get a bit of an 'off' flavor at first...other than that, major clouds of vapor, good flavor.

One question (silly one at that): what color yarn are you using? I bought the Peaches & Cream white...maybe it's bleach causing the off flavor?

One word of caution to everyone: if you're swapping a used yarn wick for a new one, be very gentle when pulling it out. I got a bit rambunctious on the last one I changed. It was stuck to the coil and the coil twisted as I pulled the wick - made it difficult to re-thread a new piece of yarn.

Rebuilding coils really is easy. I never thought I'd be able to do it and was afraid to try it forever, but once I did, I wondered what had taken me so long. If I can do it, anyone can! After all, I am blonde! LOL!

Damn. Just got my first mech mod today. All my 12 mg stuff is way too harsh on it. Everything I have is 12 mg.

Looks like I'll have to go on another juice buying spree.

Yeah I had to go down to 6 mg when I started dripping. My reo comes in this week and I know I won't be able to use my 12 mg in that. Still working on replacing all my stuff with the 6.

That's what I did. I saved my empties and mixed half 12, half 0 to get 6.
I was doing the same to drop to 3 (half 6, half 0) until it dawned on me to ask you to mix it as 3 when I ordered it.

I love that Walt will adjust the nic for you. I have made my second order of 3mg. That is the epitome of good service. Trying the blue moon, blue razz cotton candy and melon plus a bunch of DIY flavors. Already love my custard,shamrock,and fudge brownie.

Maybe vanilla milkshake or Boblo Island Vanilla Custard? I can't say that I've tried sweetened condensed milk by itself, so I could be way off...Might have to go buy some so I can give you an educated opinion.

It is sweet beyond imagination. Canned milk say 1 cup undiluted and then 1 cup of sugar cooked together. Not sure whether the custard would have the right profile or not. May have to try that or the milkshake the next time. Thanks
