I love the look of the brass, but my current brass top/connector on my xhaler has become pitted tarnished and dented... I drop my ecigs alot and dont want to ruin my new precise...

Boy after reading this thread it has made me all jiggy about my brass decision. Im a gonna stick with it tho, if it doesn't wear to my liking I can order a SS replacement. Correct?

My 2 bits.

It is starting to look like I am the only one with brass.

2 P10s - Brass
1 P16 - Brass
1 S6 - Brass
1 S6 - One of the first produced with all aluminum, including button and adapters for 901 and 801 adjustable air flow.

The brass is more work to maintain, and may turn out to be shorter lived, but I like the look. Having some of Davids earliest devices, and absolutely no issues, my concern is minimal. I do take care of them and use caution with the threads, have yet to have a hint of wear. Even the all aluminum adapters still function perfectly.

I have had lesser mods start to show wear in a matter of a couple months and threads starting to pull, but not in the Super-Ts.This is, in large part, due to the quality of machining in each of Davids pcs.

No question the SS will be the best answer for life of the device, but the brass is a plus in the looks department. I will probably buy SS and put them away, just in case David discontinues the Precise series, but will use the brass until it wears out. (That looks like it will be a long time, from now.)

Pipes1 Thanks for your two cents gives me an added vote of confidence with my decision. I absolutely love the contrast of the two different metals. When I read pitted and dented brass piece from Nhaler products made me take a pause.
