I purchased a telescopic WH and an industrious. I really wanted the ELAv2 but I did not have the money for the industrious and the ELAv2 and extras so I got the WH instead. Now to all that own both, is the ELAv2 better than the WH. Also why is it better? and would you purchase the ELAv2 if you were me? I really want to make sure I can always have a device, so if the WH breaks, is lost, or stolen I would like to make sure I have another Super-T product because they really are top notch.

Is there a big difference between the WH and ELAv2?

To me the biggest benefit of the ELA is the Hybrid adjustable post. No screwdriver needed, perfect seal and robust. Also, the ELA button comes off almost instantly to clean with no need for tools like the WH does and the ELA button locks. Well worth the money, as the ELA's at their current price are right about at our cost to machine them, so its a steal. It takes us three times as long to machine an ELA as it does a Workhorse.

I have both. I enjoy the workhorse for its durability, low voltage drop, 22mm size, toughness and simplicity. The ELAs I have I enjoy for their versatility, amazing precision craftsmanship, looks and design. More voltage drop than the WH but not by much. I just build accordingly for each device.

If you can.... get the ELA as well. The switch and contacts are amazaballs and there truly isn't anything quite like it... You don't want to be scouring the classies mate. JM2C

I have an ELA V2 that I bought right after Christmas. I will likely buy a Workhorse Telescopic as a "beater" mod. I have purchased every available option for my ELA, but the price of the Workhorse keeps calling to me. For what it's worth, I also bought an 18500 WH with an 18650 brass tube. Because this is my last chance for Super T mods, I'll keep ordering as long as they are available.

Sorry for the double post, but editing sucks on an iPad. Just want to make sure it's clear that I'm in love with my ELA. It's the first mod that has forced me to order 18500 and 18350 batteries simply because I enjoy it that much. I have many, many other mods that can be used with those batteries, but I never bought them until I had my ELA.

Despite my affinity for my ELA, I am still likely to order a WH Telescopic. My advice is to get both, just like I will.

With how amazing my workhorse telescopic looks I will be getting an ELA hopefully before they are all gone. I really do not know how you can get better craftsmanship or precision or whatever than the workhorse, so that excites me to no end.

Buy the ELA V2 you will be amazed.....
