Thanks everyone!

It was a Totally AWESOME Day! I took the young Lady that used to live next to us that I watched grow up (I call her my Adopted Daughter and she calls me Dad) and her husband out with me (I taught them both how to fish!

Brenda when she was about 8 years old and her hubby Philip after he married Brenda.

) We were out on the river from about 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. We caught or limits of 4 salmon each, plus we lost about a dozen. Brenda even caught a nice Dolly Varden trout that we had to release because it was 2 inches to small.

Brenda caught The Biggest fish of the day.

She beat my fish by 1/4 pound!

(But what the heck, she caught it on one of my salmon rods and I taught her how to catch them, so it was all good!

)
We were the only boat on the river and The Only boat to catch fish!

The bank fishermen were not as lucky as we were!

18 rigs out and not a single fish on the bank.

(but then again, I have been fishing this stretch of the river for over 42 years, so I know it extremely well!

)
Dayna, my Grandkids would just shrivel up and blow away if I didn't keep them stocked with smoked Salmon!

I need to catch at least 12 more salmon this week because I have been requested to bring baked salmon to my son-in-law and grand daughter's birthday party on Sunday. So, I am going to be banished to the river all of the rest of the week!

A fate worse than death!
