To Drip or Not to Drip (SB)

Well tonight I finally ran into the dreaded ATTY problems. 5 attys out on me My original TW 510 atty which had been working like a charm died tonight (RIP) I swapped batteries and when to hit it and got nada nothing zero zilch .. I am going to miss that atty (RIP again) -- I went to try some attys that I had bought from Heaven's Gifts (formerly Ruyan Direct) My wife had used them previously a few time but did not like the colors (silver, titanium, plats etc etc) and I went to use them tonight and was hearing the sizzle but got little to no vaper and it was like breathing air --- Long story short they are soaking in coke and will be "cleansed" tomorrow. I swipped one of the wife's TW 510's from her multipack [YES she will kill me when she finds out 8-o] so I am good to go for now ...

But I digress ... I should be getting my SB, errrrr I am going to get my SB tomorrow (think positive Boyd) and I have the 801 attys coming with it ... should I cart them or should I direct drip with the SB?

I direct Drip It's like The Yeti on Steroids...would eat those cartridges in a matter of seconds. So much easier to take off the end cap, drop a few drops in there and go on my way.

YES....dripping is the only way to go.....I am also a tailpiper...lol...no tips for me...

I was curious about tailpiping. Wouldn't you get a good case of hotlips if you got carried away while vaping too long? 8-o

As for the 510s I use a rubber grip from a pen cut in half...Works perfectly....too much trouble for me to keep taking the tip off and putting it back on...besides, you get a better hit with a bigger hole. OOps, that sounded perverted...lol

I never get "hotlips" lol. Just try it on the 801, you'll love it. With the 510 you WILL get those hotlips tho unless you put something on it. I use a pen grip cut in half.

Speaking of PV's, tailpipe dripping is the way to go.
Tailpipe dripping not recommended for other applications

I actually got the idea from someone else on this forum a few months back. Can't remember who it was but it works great for me....

It was DaMulta who suggested the pen grips...great fix! I use this fix on my SB as well

I think the vote would be no cart @ 6v
and at 3.7... well that's a story in itself... with an SB or anything carts have been an issue .... might wanna check out the cart mod subforum here if you wanna go the cart route IMO

Check my sig.. Releasing a HV Slug tonight hopefully. Line the cart up right and you'll burn no more carts.

For those of you that cant wait.. just look at the directions for the slug and just insert it upside down and thats it.

For the tail pipers there is a new mod. They are Brass T Tips. I ordered 2 today for my 510. The look cool and with the right dripper you can drip without taking out the tip. Link below. He has some in stock so get them quick before he runs out.

The hard rubber ones that are a pain in the but to put on the first time are the best IMO.

Works on all atomizers too.
