vaping is a big community here in dubai. the only thing is selling of juice or devices are banned. but you can get what you need here. Social media is a good place to start for all your vaping needs.

So typical Dubai. Something is illegal, but no one does anything about it. I swear the only real laws they care about there is drugs, murder and theft. Traffic law, business law, and especially prostitution, etc.. they could care less.
^Nice shot @Flip Vaper 77 buddy! Here's one more ;)

Pretty sure I know where both of those photos were taken. Flips is the back patio of the mall where all the restaurants are near the waterfall?

Second one I'm guessing it was taken somewhere near Sheikh Zayed road? Near the interchange or perhaps north near the electronics district?

Would you take the vape gear and supplies in your bag/carry on and take it through the country where it is illegal even though you have no intension of vaping while staying there?

Or would you suggest i put all of my vaping equipment in the check in luggage.

wtih the new laws per FAA you can't put batteries in checked luggage anymore....since October of 2015.

U.S. Bans E-Cigarettes in Checked Luggage

If I were travelling somewhere where my vape gear might be confiscated I'd bring along the cheapest stuff I could find and put in carry-on. If you have a friend at your destination you could always mail your stuff to them to have on arrival.

However, as with any international travel - it is wise to carry cheapo stuff on person and/or in our hand baggage. So that even if it's confiscated you're not at a serious loss. And carry multiple of them, in different form factors. If one's grabbed - the other might just be let off - and you could still enjoy a vape.

I always carry iTaste VV V3s and iSticks with clearos. And a Joyetech eRoll-C. Which btw, b'coz it looks like a tobacco cigarette - has never been questioned. Ironic it is - but that's how stuff work sometimes :)

Yes it doesn't have to be illegal to cause a slow down with TSA, etc. I got pulled out of line at Stewart International Airport, due to my REO. Of course, there weren't many box shaped ecigs back then, but the person who pulled me said it looked "very bad" on the xray machines. Whatever that means.

I had brought along my business card from REO, etc. as well as instructions on how to use it, just in case, so I whipped that out to show them what it was. :)

If you mean the fountain then you're right... The waterfall is inside the mall

Any updates on this? Planning on flying through Dubai in January - most likely with Emirates. Possibly with a couple days worth of their stopover program. No checked luggage - carry-on only.

I bought my first PV when I went on vacation from the US. It was just on my carry on bag along with 3 bottles of e-liquid. I even got searched at customs coming into Dubai and they didn't care. What other vapers say is of you're bringing a mod, bring it in disassembled and put the pieces in separate areas of your luggage. And if you ever need supplies while in Dubai let me know through here.

Whoops, I meant where they put on the amazing water show (with the jet fountains). The waterfall with all the divers isn't too far from there, but its inside. Sorry. I have a picture of me sitting in a spot with nearly the exact same perspective, only I'm smoking hookah.

Currently sat in Emirates biz class lounge happily vaping. I travel via Dubai every 6 weeks and as I've just given up smoking for 6 weeks I was pretty concerned. I contacted Dubai Airport through their website and had a reply I've saved on my phone. Potable battery devices are prohibited from checked in luggage but electronic cigarettes may be carried in hand luggage.
I've got a few mods in a bag in my hand luggage and another with a tank on in a zip lock bag in my pocket. Juice, coils and tanks are in my checked in luggage.
All good so far.
