Hi guy's, new to all this and just thought i'd share my first two weeks of vapin with you. I started off doing a bit of research but it was around the time of this board going down so i went for it and ordered the Super Mini from Smart Smoker. It arrived and i got it on charge straight away eagerly awaiting my first vape. After the first 8 hour charge i gave it a blast and was far from impressed, little if any vapor was produced. Tried about 8 carts but still nothing. I got onto Smart Smoker and they sent me out a new battery and atomizer.

In the mean time i decided to order a bottle of eliquid (24mg British Bull Dog) in preparation of filling my own carts. I then came across Igetcha on YouTube and immediately ordered the EVO as i was well impressed with the EVO (Cheers dude, great smoke :thumb:). The next day the liquid and the new battery and atomizer arrived so i started experimenting again to see if things were any better. Wow, what a difference especially with a few drops of British Bull Dog. I've got a feeling i did have a duff batch of carts. The following day came the EVO so i then kept swapping between the two with the EVO winning hands down. What i did forget was i was vapin 24mg and this was far too strong for me.

The next three days i suffered, i had a really bad headache and didn't feel good at all :(, luckily this forum was back up and i was reading everyone's experiences and decided i'd suffered a slight Nic OD. As you'll probably guess i didn't vape while feeling this bad, but i was planning my next move so i ordered some 0mg and got a bottle of glycerin to cut the 24mg 50/50.

I was feeling better after a few days so decided it was time to give it another bash, the 0mg was going down great and better still the new let down 24mg was going good. I've now deiced that the 0mg is my general all day vapin as it is pretty addictive while sat working away on the computer all day, and the stronger stuff is used less frequent.

The e-cig went down well in the pub, everyone was well impressed and wanting to sample it, i'm half tempted to buy in bulk and get them sold in there. Plus due to this forum i was pretty much able to answer everyone's questions looking quite the vapin expert!

I'm still going back and to between the EVO and the Super Mini, i find the EVO is great for the battery life, the size and how much i can vape from a cart so this is ideal for on the go. While sat working away at my desk i'm tending to go for the Super Mini, a few drops in this give a really good vape, cart wise pretty poor as it doesn't last very long.

So just want to say thanks to everyone here for the the help on getting started and pretty much cutting out all the analogues.

hi mate,

glad my videos helped you! not sure if you saw this one too but it might also help you out:-

YouTube - EVOlution E-CIG USER TIPS AND MAINTENANCE GUIDE

the same principles can be applied to most e-cigs but as you have the evo then it seems relevant.

strange thing about the nic juice is that i mainly use the 36mg stuff and i vape like a trooper, plus get it in my mouth when blowing out atomisers and get it all over my hands when refilling etc but ive never had any problems at all!

not sure why! any ideas kate?

Yes, I strongly suspect you've both built up a tolerance to higher doses. This is what happens when folk first start smoking, it can make them nauseous at first but persistence develops tolerance and dependence. With tolerance you need higher doses for the same effect. You have to take more nic to notice that you are taking it because you are used to it.

Hope that makes sense ... it's just a theory.

Igetcha - the vid has already been put to good use, the tip's and reviews are great.

Been back on the 24mg today and again it went straight to my head so backed off it. At 12mb (50% Glycerine) its great, the amount of vapor is awesome and its damn good smoke, but does vary between two atomisers on the super mini.

no worries mate!

is one of your atomisers used more than the other? i find that the atomisers get better with use over time.......kinda like running in a car engine. that could explain the difference in performance.

Scott, are you sure those allergies you had aren`t connected with nicotine, especially getting it all over your hands? Did you get over that horror episode mate?

hi mate,

no i still get at least one reaction a day but that is so much better than every 30 minutes like how it was a few weeks ago.

anti allergy tablets are controlling it but not curing it by any means.

one doctor thinks it is stress related hives but another doctor is adament that it isnt. im having blood tests soon :(

im sure it has nothing to do with vaping as i stopped for several days and it actually got worse!

for those that wanna see:-

my arm 20 minutes later as the reaction starts to clear

20 minutes after that my skin is completely back to normal. the reaction covers my whole body apart from my face and nob!

those pics were about 2 weeks ago and since taking the tablets the reactions are no way near as severe now.......thank god!
