What's the signifigance of the "to my friend" engraving on select GGs? I just got my SS GG Stealth from Bruce yesterday and it was engraved as such.

Imeo engraved "to my friend" on a small batch (100 pcs.??) of GGTS bottom tubes, as a kind of a special edition.
I have a GGTS TMF and I love it to have this engraving, it makes me smile every time when I see it.
As an example you can find lithographies which are numbered and some of them have dedications written on it beside the name of the artist, such make this copies a bit more special althought the piece of art itself is the same.
Other PVs aren't even numbered which makes them look like a mass product even when there only a couple of hundrets or thousands are made. Beside functionality and quality - most people don't care about such small things, but for some of us it makes a GG different - reflecting the spirit of Imeo, GGs and the GG family. Like a beetle vs a handmade Morgan.

Well said Gredie! Unless Imeo has made a change, there are only 100 SS GGTS that have the "to my friend" engraving. I might add that it isn't just words for Imeo. He considers the folks on the forum here his friends. And I can easily say we consider him our good friend as well.
It isn't just a comment. It is a true feeling. I understand that some folks prefer to not have engravings on their PV's and so does Imeo. That's why not all have that on them. But for those of us that know Imeo can tell you, he doesn't meet any strangers. He is your friend for as long as you want him to be.
For me and most others that got the limited TMF version, we consider ourselves lucky to have that reminder on our GG's that Imeo care not just about the way his stuff is made but the people that buy and use them as well.

I have a feeling Imeo made more TMF tubes which makes me very happy as I was really hoping for a TMF SS Stealth when I order one.

That would be awesome brother Fright! I suspect there are more than 100 people in the GG world that a "TMF" would mean something to.
The To My Friend GGTS' are just special to me. I have an older GGTS and it does not have Too My Friend or By Imeo on it. I wish it did. It makes them even more personalized, and Imeo puts a great deal of thought and hard work into making them. Then we have a million questions, so he has to use his spare time making videos for us to watch. It is all quite amazing, but very personal. Just getting to know your own GG can be very personal if that makes any sense. So for Imeo to have too my friend on the GG is an extra something special, most of us really like the warm family feeling it brings. Even if it is a family of GG users over the internet, from all over the world.
I made another 100 pieces TMF version but I mixed them with the other 400 pieces. I wanted to send it to my people by luck. I wanted to make a surprise to anyone wanted that but I didnt want him to know it

I really couldn't be happier! I actually got the ss stealth for a friend for Xmas, but when I saw the engraving I knew that I couldn't give it away. He's getting a provari instead. The tmf is probably the nicest gesture I've ever received from ANY manufacturer. Imeo, expect a lifetime of business from me. Your work is unparalleled and I spread the word about your work whenever im given the opportunity to. Thank you!

WOW thanks for this thread, I was just thinking about asking what the history was on the TMF, that is just Cool Also, when I was looking at the serial numbers list I notice at one time (maybe still?) Imeo has # 531, I have # 532, one number difference...WOW and I could going into how the number 32 has so much meaning through my life, So, for it to keep me off Cigs just makes it so much better. Thanks Imeo for all you do!

I received in my 2nd Stealth, this time the new SS model. It was a TMF edition with serial #2001. Now I have two TMF GG.
