To remove batteries or not...

So I'm leaving next week for 5 months roughly (USAF basic/tech school), I've got 2 DNA30's (dz nutz and a protovapor xpv) and was questioning if I should remove the internal batteries and such, or just leave them in... I'm leaning towards taking them out but any help would be nice!

It couldn't hurt to take em out.

I was a jet engine mechanic in the AF back in the 60's. The training part sucks but once you get stationed somewhere it's pretty much like a regular job.

I got to go to some real nice and not so nice places while I was in, enjoy the ride.

Thank you mike! Aircraft structural maintenence is my mos. Very thankful I got that job.

Yeah I think I'll just take them out, considering how long they'll be sitting in a chest.
