I am not a fan of buying juices that 'need to be steeped'... To me, paying premium for juice that needs to be steeped is like buying a wine that "will be great in 5yrs" for the same price as a bottle of wine that has been properly aged. I'm not a wine guy at all, but that's what I equate it to. I feel that if I'm paying for a bottle, it should be ready to go when I buy it. If making my own, steeping is something I have to deal with.

I make my own and I am always to impatient to wait. But I will have to admit, there are juices that do get better over time. I taste them getting better. Normally your darker juices and tobaccos. Clear and fruits and stuff are pretty much shake and vape. I'm not real big on the term "steeping". I always think of hot tea.

Looks like a big vendor that has decided to forgo options may be what you prefer:

I have a feeling we will see more and more vendors not letting us have options in order to comply with restrictions that the FDA may impose or to streamline their inventory so they won't have to send an application in for each order they may mix.

I am sad :(

I like being able to tell my vendor that I only want xx mg nic or 70/30 PG/VG and have them mix to what I need for that order. I like being able to step down my nic intake without having to figure out how much of one bottle to mix with another bottle to find my preferred nic ratio.

Aging was a small price to pay for freedom of choice.

The thing is though, prices can be drastically different when buying these pre-steeped juices. A lot of these juice companies are operating on a 400% to 500% markup and often times it's not even as good. As long as you get a little rotation going, having to steep for a week or two shouldn't even matter. Especially when you can buy 120ml for the price of 30ml if not cheaper.

And with wine and liquor, it's not necessary the aging that brings on the higher price. I drink a handcrafted 10 year old bourbon at $27 to $30 a fifth. It easily blows away a lot of whiskey at triple the price.
