I usually pick up a six pack every night. I may not drink them all, but I do enjoy my bur (sic). I rarely go out. But I've never had an issue with drinking beer and vaping. The only flavor that goes wonky on me is butterscotch. Otherwise all my flavors taste just fine while enjoying the beverages.

EDIT: Hangovers. Yep. Drink lots of water before bed. Lots and lots of water. Just, uh, be ready to wake up doing the pee-pee dance.

I drink a lot of pre-prohibition style cocktails. Lots of rye whiskey, lots of martinis. Lots of dark beer. Still get hangovers. And as I get older, they just seem to get worse. I'll chime back in after we celebrate my buddy's 40th on Saturday. And maybe I'll make sure to have another rye old fashioned for each response here. Tended bar for lots of years and I can drink to put a sailor to shame. It's those construction workers you gotta watch out for. Nothing to do but down beers once the snow flies.

I've only been hung over once since I started vaping, I think. It was just as bad as I remember them being when I was a smoker, but I wasn't hacking or dealing with a sore throat. I think part of the reason I haven't had a hangover from other times I've had some drinks is that I drink more water with my alcohol now. Otherwise, I can't vape as much. Hydration has more to do with not being hungover, as far as I know, so staying well hydrated will help keep the hangovers away.

I definitely feel better for not smoking. I still get hangovers but not nearly as bad as when i used to get through two packs in an evening.
I can shrug off any hangover now with a shower and a cup of tea.
As for the drinking water before going to bed... I tried that as a teenager and promptly wet the bed.

I'm a relatively heavy drinker on my days off (see : friday/sat/sunday nights). I rarely get hangovers cause I always accompany my drinking with food and plenty of water. And I strongly suggest you do too, it's a good hangover-prevention habit :D
But, strangely enough, I feel the hangover rate has decreased.
Also, If I got drunk and had a cigarette, my brain would go completely fuzzy for about 2-3 minutes. This doesn't seem to happen whenever I've found myself drunk and vaping.

We had a party last weekend and I ended up bumming a few analogs. I hadn't had one in 6 weeks until that point (and none since that night because I really don't want them after that). I had the worst headache the next day, worse than any regular hangover headache. I drank a ton of water before bed (at 5am) and don't think I was drunk at all by that point. But my head hurt so bad the next day, it made me sick. I know it was from the analogs. In the past few years I have quit smoking a few times and it's usually it's a party that will get me smoking again and I do know it ups the headache the next day if I haven't been smoking for a while.

For me it was always about hydration. If you drink enough water during your drinking then the less likely for a hangover. After a heavy night of drinking I use to down at least a 12 oz glass of water before sleeping and that helped a lot. I don't really drink that much any more but during the holidays....O never mind. :vapor:
This is what I do. Before bed I drink a full bottle of water (23.7oz) and take 2 excederins and I am usually fine in the am. That is if I just stick to beer. If I start mixing other things in then not much helps, like I did on New years.

Nah it comes from drinking too many out of the 12 pk. One thing I have found after a hundred years drinking is I have no hangover from Coors light. Cigs just made me stink worse.
Coors Light is also the best for me. It's my preferred beer (even though I sometimes get picked on for it) and it seems to give me the least hang overs and doesn't really bother my stomach.
A friend of mine will not smoke a CIG all day when he's hung over. He says it makes him feel worse. Now back when I was a smoker I had to smoke when I first woke up regardless of being hung over or not. This just made me think, the first thing going in my body in the morning and the last thing at night was toxic disgusting smoke. I was dumb for so many years! Thinking about it now makes me sick! So glad I don't smoke anymore. I smell it on people now too and think to myself "wow I smelled that nasty for so many years". Definitely not very attractive.

I do feel hat excessive cigarette smoking while drinking amplifies the terrible feeling I have the next day. It might be just me but I do believe in a cigarette hangover. There is a limit to how much a person can smoke. And there is a limit to how much a person can drink. Cross both of these limits on the same night and it's time to call in sick.

Don't get me wrong vaping is not a hangover eliminator, but i think it's helped me a bit in the morning (even if it's just the fact that I smell better and it's easier to look at myself in the mirror).

I agree with the other replies. Hydration is important when drinking, and vaping is unfortunately no friend in that department. I am still just as hung over the morning after, but I'm definitely much more parched than I've ever been when I smoked. It's nice to not have to cough like crazy through the hangover headaches anymore though.
