I am a little confused reading through all the post regarding the use of airflow restrictors/adaptors/ego cones. I see some posts saying that I should use an ego cone to prevent over tightening but then some posts say not to use anything because it will do something bad(I think push the posts down?).
Maybe I am getting the word adapter and the ego cone confused - I assume it's the same type of thing.
So what is the most popular consensus? To use the ego cone to protect the threads or not? I am currently using the mini vivi nova and plan on getting a protank.
