Tobacco Base Recommendations

New to DIY .... and still only 3 weeks into vaping ....so I'm in search of recommendations for a decent tobacco base to start with. I have some TFA/TPA tobacco flavorings but I have to say I can tell its going to be perfumey....I made a small batch and its stinks but will let it sit for a while and see what happens. I don't expect to be able to turn out a great tobacco easily but if I had a good base to start with it would be a help. I do have a juice I like from V4L wow Kamel but I would like to improve on that. Need something non-perfumey!

So my quest for a Camel like vape begins!

Flavor Art's Desert Ship is a good one to start with.

I agree with frequentj I use 1 drop per ml and use it as a base.Flavor Art is never perfumey.It smells like a freshly opened pack of cigarettes.Oh and i add 2 drops of vape wizard.You dont't have to add it,I just prefer it.

My base for most FlavourArt tobaccos is 2% Tobacco, 2% TFA Cotton Candy.

gotta love the name...straight forward or what? I used 3% of this and 1% EM in a 5ml batch at 24mg, 75/25 PG/VG. I do an advanced steeping ...by microwaving it for 4 seconds and then shaking it like crazy for as long as I can. Then let it sit for a few hours and tried it. I thought...that tastes like the real thing. Tried it again the next day. Same thing. So i made a 30ml bottle that I'm about to open later today.

If you do try it let me know what you think. I liked it so much I already asked if there were any supply concerns or if I should stock up...lol. They said no worries!

For a good tobacco base, Seedman Commercial cigarette concentrate, at about 12%. It's available from Seedman directly or from bluemistvaping.

To add some punch to any tobacco flavored eliquid, tobacco absolute diluted. I use the TPA TA diluted. "Diluted" is their version that's precut with alcohol or PG -- by itself it is super thick. Just a couple drops per 10 ml should add a noticeable "twang" to the flavor. 12% Seedman plus 3 drops per 10ml of TA diluted will get you a very firm tobacco flavor.

For a smoother tobacco, use about 3% hazelnut or caramel flavoring. You can mix Seedman, hazelnut, caramel, and 2 drops TA diluted per 10 ml to get a really neat tobacco eliquid.

For mixing with vanilla, cherry, other things, where the tobacco component is supposed to be soft, I use TPA's tobacco blend alc.

Thanks for the tips mark. I have most of that but the hazelnut. I really like the one I found.

There's no right or wrong in DIY, we all branch out depending on our own tastes. Many people really go for caramel, I end up using it pretty sparingly (other than for my car capp )
