Hello, First post here, done a lot of reading but can't seem to find an answer. So here goes,
In most tobacco flavor juice there is a burnt Carmel taste and smell someone had told me this was RY4 or an RY4 base, I need to find a tobacco flavor that does not contain this flavor.

A little background, I have spent more money on samples over the last few months than I've spent on all my hardware combined, just the smell of the burnt Carmel/ RY4 gives me a headache and if I vape it the headache is so bad Advil doesn't even put a dent in it and it lasts for hours.
rather than list the countless bottles of flavors that I have tried the only ones I can use at this point are gorilla juice (love the stuff) and tobacco flavor from American eliquid (not that great IMO) I've also tried one that was a natural extract but it seemed to have no flavor at all .
So, I was hoping that someone could point me in the right direction, a tobacco flavor without the burnt Carmel/RY4 because it getting to the point where I can't taste the Gorilla juice and I don't want to go back to smoking ciggs again.

Thank you.

Once you have 5 posts, send me a PM and I'll give you a couple recommendation on what I've heard. Keep in mind that I don't vape tobacco so I can only relay what I've heard mentioned or what I've seen posted. Some of the members that do vape tobacco will probably be a bigger help.

I do know what you're talking about though. A few of the tobacco flavors I've tried do that that carmel/sweet/vanilla flavor.

Personally, I don't get why anyone would want a tobacco flavor myself. The only reason I put up with tobacco flavor cigarettes is because before vaping, it was the only way I knew of to get nicotine. Now...I don't want anything thst tastes like tobacco, I've worked in tobacco fields, stripping rooms, fell out of barns hanging the stuff, and given a ton of money to RJR over the years... I much prefer the flavors I'm tasting now. So, maybe tobacco flavors aren't where you should be looking. Try something minty instead?

USA red or USA light from myfreedomesmokes.com has NO sweetness to it IMHO. Maybe one of them can help you.

actually I like it on the sweet side it's just the burnt Carmel taste and smell I can't handle.
I just hope I'm describing this all correctly .
if it's not sweet at all I don't think I will like it. I found that ciggs not sweet is fine but when I vape I like a little sweet.

actually I do like other flavors a lot but I find myself sucking down 3 or 4 mil. in just a few hours because I like the flavor just doesn't feel like I smoked a cigg. maybe I need to go up on the nic.
but for the record I loved smoking

Hello and welcome!

For reference, I have been a 15+ year smoker of full flavor tobacco cigarettes. I have searched for quite some time chasing that elusive "true" analog tobacco taste.

My hunt is not over, but here are some of my favorites so far:

Alien Visions - Blend 4
Alien Visions - C&D
Alien Visions - Flue Cured
Heather's Heavenly Vapes - Dark Horse
Backwoods Brew - Hunter's Blend

You'll find a very light sweetness in the bass notes of most of those though. Nothing like the sickening RY4 (I too can't handle it) that you've been experiencing thus far.

What I have come to realize is that most vendors put a little sweetness on the bass end of things to prevent that dryish, bitter, semi-chemical aftertaste that comes with VG / PG. I have found some that do not have this very light sweetness, but the finish on them is rather harsh and bitter. Not something I can recommend. With that said, the level of sweetness varies, and of all of the above, I would say that the C&D has the least while remaining pleasurable to vape.

I've just received about 15 more in the mail from various vendors. I'll drop you a line if any of those hit the spot after some steeping as well.

I just ordered Halo's sampler PG/VG tobacco flavored juice pack... They have one called "Captain Jack" which is a sweet pipe tobacco taste, it is VERY GOOD IMO... Very good flavor... I dont like the standard tobacco taste myself, and I agree that most that mimic or try to mimic have a caramel or vanilla taste (esp. blu cartimizers).

They also sent me a free sample of a new juice called "subzero"... Awesome menthol juice, it is exactly like a Marlboro Menthol Light IMO.

I like captain jack so much tho that I havent even tried any of the other juices yet. :)

What nic strength are you using now? I generally like at least 24mg for throat hit. I like some vapor too so I stsy around 50/50 pg/vg blends.

Not to be pushy or anything but the most satisfying juice for quieting MY cravings is Mt Baker Vapor Wintergreen in 24mg with 3 extra flavor shots.

It's a little sweet but not "icy/hot" like a lot of menthols are. The mint is a nice warm tingle that highlights the nicotine, probably why tobacco companies have sold wintergreen tobacco for years with much success and satisfied customers. Maybe try some, and perhaps you might try mixing some in with your tobacco juice once you fond one that suits you. I've tried a small batch of that with a tobacco sample I had on my neighbor who's a die hard smoker and he's actually considering switching based on the taste of that.

I don't like RY4 from anyone but do like most of Mr E Liquids other tobacco flavors. Some take longer to steep than others but Grey Matter (personal fav) right out of the mail is good and changes as weeks go by if you have it that long. I also like RYO and Rough Neck (on the strong side.) I always buy the smallest size to test. I'm not heavy into sweet but do add a drop of concentrated sweet or menthol right on the carto for a slight change of taste now and then. All of them work well doing that.

Ok, here's the story, started with green smoke a few years back nic. 4 mil. Had problems with batteries all the time failed back to smoking then got introduced to safe cig better vapor and batteries lasted longer but the wife (also smoked) was getting upset stomach and headache they were 6 and 8 mill. Failed now here I am a year or so later wife has an ego kit but won't go over 12mill. As for me I have an evic with a vision nova tank and have been using 12 and 14 mill. Love the equipment but I think 16 to 18mill would be better for me .

Seriously? 3-4mi in a couple of hours? SERIOUSLY???

I used to smoke about 3/4 to 1 full pack a day of reds (pall mall, marlboro, camel, whatever was cheapest) and since I quit analogs and switched to a standard Blu starter kit that I got from Wallgreens I have used about 2-3 cartimizers a day... Obviously thats a little costly even if you order bulk from Blu's website, so I ordered some juice samples and starting filling cartimizers... Today, I dripped maybe 20 drips of the Halo CJ juice, been good with it all day.... It started as a 7ml sample bottle, it's day 2, it's prolly still 98% full still. It is higher nic tho, 2.4 compared to the highest 1.8 that Blu offers. I kinda savor the flavor of the Halo juice a little more I think. I couldn't imagine burning through 3-4ml a day, let alone in a couple of hours.

I would like to recommend Dekang USA mix, from madvapes.com, it hit the spot for me. Its a chinese liquid, but dont let that deter you. Just stay away from Dekang Virginia, it taste just like an ashtray. Not that I've licked an ashtray or anything lol

I'm right there with ya, I can't stand ry4, it makes me sick to my stomach.

I just ordered the halo tobacco sampler pack, and 3 vapor4life tobacco juices, 555, wowboy, and kamel, I'll let you know how they taste.

I think you may have that wrong... VG has no chemical taste. In fact plain VG is pretty sweet... I suspect these flavors that seem sweeter to you actually have a higher VG ratio
