I am wanting to find a tobacco flavor that I like... just wanting to get the opinions of some of you more experienced vapers...

With my first order I got VG Cowboy to try, and I thought it was eeewie... being new and all I don't really know what the difference is between VG and regular juices regarding taste... I know that it is different from person to person... but it just kinda had a funky after taste. Could it be the fact that it was VG or would that really matter. I didn't want to try the
non-VG Cowboy if they taste the same. I have ordered a couple of new ones to try.. the 555 and the Leaford sampler pack. Any suggestions on what I might try? I smoked Marlboro Lights off and on along with Eve Lights... I just know that I am really liking vaping, and have not really missed having a real smoke, and I want to keep it that way.:thumb:

Kamel and RY4 are my current favorites. Unless you have some kind of reaction to PG, I think you should stick with that instead of VG. I tried VG just to check out the higher vapor, but don't like the taste or the film it seems to leave behind. The tobacco sampler will be a good way to try several flavors at once - you could also browse the swap thread for a way to try others without having to buy a 5-pak of something you might not like.

I am a tobacco lover and never really cared for burley tobaccos which is what comprises most of the tobacco in american blends of Marlboro, Virginia Slims, Parliament etc. So no surprise I didn't care much for these flavours in vaping since the bitterness of these tobaccos seems to really become noticable when converted to juice.

I do like 555 which still follows the profile since euro cigs usually use virginian tobaccos. I have cuban cigar juice but haven't tried it yet, nor the Hilton (which IIRC is also a euro cig). If you like black and milds try the French Pipe.

Really though for as much as I like smoking tobacco I don't really enjoy vaping it.

Tops flavours for me right now are: Cool, Caramel Mocha Frappaccino, Cranberry and French Vanilla Ice Cream

I am probably the only one here that doesn't like 555.....at all. Here are my rankings on the tobacco flavors that I like...

1. Kant (by far)
2. Parlament
3. Kamel
4. Cowboy

Menthols

1. Nuport
2. Cool
3. Cowboy Menthol

Amongst the tobacco flavors I don't like at all: 555, French Pipe, Virginia

There are a few I haven't tried yet and all of them I vape at 36mg.

Yeah, thanks... I do try and use the search option before I ask a question, because I don't want to be annoying with the questions... but, sometimes I can't find what I'm looking for... I really appreciate how everyone is so willing to jump in and help. That's awesome. I really have no idea what I'm doing.. just trying to get the hang, and learn the lingo... ha ha

If I'm in the mood for tobacco flavor then I go to Kamel and 555. But the butterscotch and cappuccino are awesome. I don't care for the sweet fruit flavors too much, but I'm giving it time cus I hated capp in the begininng now I love it. Remember that your tastes will change in the coming weeks/ months as the cigs are hopefully gone and your tastebuds start to taste again :D

The smoothest, richest tobac flav for me is the Parliament (newer, lime label--not the original blue, which is an entirely different beast). That's a flav that most people seem to like, in part because it lacks the nutty flav of some tobacs here. I'm another guy who stays away from the 555; too nutty for me.

Sampler packs (PG) are generally the way to go. You might want to try some of the 'premium' cartos that came out this weekend. I have Dunhalls on order. By the way, I've generally found that lower nic levels taste better. I've moved between 8, 11, and 18, and I like the kick of 18 but can taste the increased nic at that level.

Well, I am an oddity, I LOVE the tobacco flavor, thats why I smoked! The blue Parla is as close to an analog as you can get, but most don't like it, it's too much!
The green Parla is my number two, it's a lot smoother and has a chocolate after taste to it, very smooth and semi-sweet, but not as dry and rough as the cowboy.
Kamel took a while to grow on me, but I like it for number three. It's a nice smooth taste, with just a hint of oriental tobacco's in it. I'd be happy with this if I hadn't found the Parla's.
Virginia has a smooth flue cured taste, but it's too sweet, Hilton doesn't have the flue taste, but it's also too sweet. I saw the European reference and that is pretty close, I'm not a fan of either of them.
I like the Cowboy, but it's really dry, I feel like I have cotton mouth after vaping on it, and it takes a while for it to grow on you. It's not a flavor you seem to pick up and like. Most seem to try it, put it down for a week then come back and like it.
I have not tried the Kant yet.
The 555 really let me down. I was hoping for a Parla with the richness of exotic tobacco's. It's more like the Virginia, a hint of flue cured then ends with hazelnut. It's not bad, but too sweet and not rich enough for me.
The Cuban juice is just pure heaven! TRY IT! It's light and smooth, I couldn't vape it all day, but it's nice to wind down with in the evening. I don't like the carto's though?
Clove was another surprise to me, I didn't smoke a lot of them as they were always pretty harsh, but this is smooth and mellow. Worth a try for sure.
Try the sample packs and get some empty carto's and some juice.
Also know everything I just described will taste differently to you!
Good luck!

Dunhall! Did you say Dunhall!?? OMG!!! I've been waiting and waiting for this! Gonna have to wait a little more because I have an order that will arrive here tomorrow and I have to budget my $$.:cry::cry:

Why are these considered Premium? Is the "formula" different?
