I only use tobacco flavors. I primarily use Marlboro and camel. I tried the red bull and it waw awful.

I believe the premium cartos are a different formula. not so much as a different taste but a better version of the same taste with mor flavor. Now i have been trying to find something like the analg taste. Its hard to duplicate the same taste due to the excessent amount of chemicals. You can get close..I think you might want to try some halo tabacco flavors like smooth 8 or freedom. Halocigs.com Is the website. The only problem is that you can only buy 30ml so if you dont like it you might be (swap thread) stuck with it and wasted 25 bucks. I like the cowboy 36mg because i was a full flavor smoker. I like heavy thick tabacco taste with a sting. I do really like 555 it def grew on me and is my all day vape. I noticed that ligh smokers (marlb ligh, camel light.) tend to like 11mg to 18mg nicotine and parliment juices or mild tabacco flavored. But as you know everyone is different. I only like regular tabacco flavors so thats all i vape. Im sure my taste will change too. But I noticed i have to give things second third and sometimes fourth chances and they start to taste great. The only real way is to start testing things from multiple vendors and cartos and try them yourself. Yes money out the door on some but its also fun. Well, hope this rant helps and haping vaping!

landlocked--it absolutely does. a TON. okay, i'll qualify that since saw commented--for *me* i get no throat hit with lower mg nic, regardless of which flavor.
I've found that nic levels do indeed have a lot to do with throat hit, but so do flavors. For example, the very best throat hit for me so far has been 36 MG Coffee. And since throat hit is very important to me, that 36 MG Coffee has been my favorite since the first hit I took. But I have had some 36 MG carts that gave me very little throat hit, like Virginia (which I didn't like at all) and whiskey (which was even worse, and that's saying a lot because I am an avid whiskey drinker).

Well, the coffee carts taste like . . . coffee! 
They're yummy, and for some reason, they give the best throat I've had from any other flavor. Again, I vape exclusively 36 MG. some think that's too strong, but it's great for me.

YUM, I've tried the coffee at 18 mg but trying to imagine what it tastes like at 36 mg? OMG. HEAVEN?
Pure heaven, yes. It's my morning vape because it seems like it's a lot stronger. And the funny part is, I also drink coffee while I'm vaping it.
Amen! But in the summer, I always start the day with a Red Bull instead of coffee. And I like to vape a strong menthol with my Red Bull. Sounds odd I know, but I'm used to it now.

I have three going all the time ~ mint, coffee, and red hots? Weird combo but it seems to work for me.
As far as regular tobacco flavors go I just can't really get into anything that comes in the prefilled cartos..
I find the best for me is a blank carto filled with juice from a different vendor...
Menthols are a completely different beast...the smilin special menthol and the kool menthol are 2 of the best menthols I've found anywhere..

Yummy, I seem to have taken a likin' to the Special Menthol myself, but I also adore the Cowboy menthol. Softer and smoother to me.......
All this talk about coffee makes me wish I had some to vape. Darn you two! Just thought I'd mention, though, that I recently got a coffee sampler and did a blind taste test that night. As I guy who likes coffee black and fairly strong, only one flav got me going: mocha frapp. Never would have chosen it by name alone, but at 18mg, what a full flav and kick of pure dark coffee. Wonder what the 36mg would be like?
Jeffree, I'm really lovin the COFFEE at 18 mg, I suggest you give it a try. I love my coffee black, but I taste just a hint of sweetness? It is so yummy! On your recommendation it looks like I need to try the Mocha Frap?
Great thread, I too like the tobaccos flavors. I just started with V4L and so far have Kamel, French Pipe, 555 and Cowboy. I am liking the Cowboy because it is similar to the Reds I used to smoke, but with a smokey kind of kick, if that makes any sense.
What I am really looking for is natural pipe tobacco flavor. The French Pipe comes close, but is has an aftertaste that can't quite place. I really did like the Greensmoke regular tobacco flavor but I've upgraded from them Hopefully V4L has something close to that.
