I've done some poking around in the E-juice section of the forum, but can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I'm switching from analog to vaping and I'm searching for a ciggarette like, tobacco taste? I was recommended AVE's 555 and Gamel by a friend of mine but I was wondering if there was anything closer to the taste out there or if anyone had any reccomendations? I'm not looking for a cigar-like or pipe tobacco like taste.

This is kind of tough to answer because after you've been vaping for a little while (a week or so, maybe less) cigarettes taste like absolute sh**.

That said, my favorite vapes so far are all primarily tobacco flavors. My ADV is Tribeca from Halo, it's what they call an RY4 (tobacco with caramel and vanilla flavors). The caramel / vanilla is somewhat understated, and not particularly sweet tasting, but really makes the tobacco sing. Their Voodoo is also really good, but has some plum and other flavors (I like it at night time, and for some reason it is delicious with bourbon). I also tried their Freedom Juice, in 1.2% nicotine and found the flavor and vapor production to be weak.

Another I've tried recently is the Tennessee Cured from Johnson's Creek. I love the flavor but I got the 100% VG version, which has very little throat hit. I think I'll like the PG / VG blend better.

From what I've gathered, people end up finding that the flavors they love can be totally different from what they expected. I've seen a lot of people on here who were non-menthol smokers that end up using mint flavors as all day vapes.

Like Kodiak says, this is a very subjective question. Not only do different people taste/smell different things in e-liquids, but the actual cigarette flavor they are trying to duplicate can vary as well. Is it the fresh green taste of a just lit cig, the smokey burning tinge of the smoke, or the acrid ashtray smell? I'm only pointing this out because even with the best recommendations, you may still be in for some trial and error.

That said, House Blend and Patriot from Goodejuice as well as the Halo Tribeca would get my vote.

I've always been a fan of Turkish tobaccos (e.g., Camel Turkish Blend), and the closest things I've found are AVE's Gamel and Hangsen Turkish Blended. I agree with other posters that after vaping exclusively for a while, your flavor memory will fade and you'll no longer crave that "cigarette-like" taste. Plus, it's well-nigh impossible to capture the "taste" of combustion. That live ember, ashy taste you think you want is hard to achieve in a medium like e-liquid where no combustion takes place.

I'll give both Goodejuice and Halo a look. Thank you. < 3

Most folks new to vaping and trying to quit smoking look for something that closely resembles a cigarette (burning tobbacco, chemicals, toxins & paper).

EC Blends - dirty ashtray or Red box.
Vapelounge - Wyatt Earp.
Be forewarned most folks would say these are raunchy, by the time they get to you and steep a week or more you'll probably be past the 'I want a cigarette flavor juice stage'.

IMO, really good to excellent tobacco flavors taste more like inhaling unlit /raw tobbaccos.

Vaping 24mg tobacco flavors was the only thing that actually finally got me off the smokes.

This is a great place for natural extract tobaccos.

I also have a thing for this tobacco juice from The Steam Co. Vaping it right now.

lol sounds absolutely delicious!

For what its worth, I wouldnt think about anything but tobacco flavored juice when I first started. That lasted me exactly 15ml and now it is all about dessert flavors. From what I have read, most people fall out of love with that ashtray taste pretty quick.

I'm probably going to be smoking cigarettes (attempting to smoke less) up until my starter kit and juice is at my doorstep. I already bought a couple of weird flavors, like pumpkin nutmeg and vanilla-like stuff I know I'd be able to tolerate if the whole.. tobacco E-juice doesn't work out for me. It would just be nice to start off with something similar, is all.

When I first started vaping I tried several different flavors, Still do actually, but no matter what I tried I always preferred the tobacco flavors. EC blends has a decent one and my local b&m has the best one I've ever tried but it's not worth the price they charge. So I did the same thing as many others and searched the world over for that perfect tobacco flavor. Never found and don't think I will. So I started trying other flavors and to my surprise I found two so far that I like better than Tobacco. Butterscotch is one of my all time favorites and I like it more than I ever liked the tobacco flavors. Another one that I like more than just regular tobacco is the blu-bacco from MT Baker. It taste so good and with just a hint of tobacco. I've seen mentioned that unflavored Eliquid has a tobaccoee flavor so I'm gonna check that out too. Just know that you don't have to limit yourself to only tobacco flavors, there's a whole world of wonderful flavors out there. Who knows, you might surprise yourself and find something great.
