[,,,] keep in mind that as you kick the cigs, your taste buds will change, so dont toss out a flavor because it doesnt taste good today. you may love it later!

True. 555 tasted like an unfiltered PallMall to me at first (yuk), and I couldn't understand all the talk about the "nutty" taste. Tried it a few more times over the next few weeks with the same result. About the 5th or 6th try, and BANG all of a sudden, warm peanut butter! It's been tasting like that ever since. To the new guys, that may sound awful, but believe me when I say it's great!

As others have stated, I don't think that you'll find one that tastes like a cigarette, but I also think you'll find something that you like. You'll also find that taste is very subjective no matter what flavors you try.

I smoked Marlboro Reds years ago, switched to Mediums for a while and smoked Marlboro Lights for the past 15 years probably. I read in here how you won't find one that tastes like a cig, but I still expected the juice to taste like a cig for some reason. My first juice was USA Mix 18 mg. It took me a while to figure out what the taste reminded me off, but I eventually settled on molasses. If you've ever had real molasses, that's what I thought it tasted most like. You're right though, it tastes much more like a pipe or cigar tobacco than a cigarette.

I have a bunch of LorAnn flavorings and haven't tried them all yet, but I've found that I like tobacco flavored juice much better than the flavors that I've tried so far. Bubble gum was ok for a while, but I grew tired of it. Pralines & Cream was not quite as good, but I could handle it on occasion. I tried other flavors like Pepsi, remarkably it tasted like a fountain pop and was ok as well. A lot of people seem to like 555, but personally I hate it. We're all different... Camel, to me, tasted too much like cotton candy. I have Virginia, DK Tab and Hilton on order, I'll let you know what I think on those. My current fave and the one I keep going back to is MyBoro 24 mg Liberty Liquid from MyPVshop.com. I cut it with about 25-30% glycerin and I vape it all day long. It works well for me, but may not for others.

If you stick with it, you'll find what works for you. If you do find that one juice that tastes like a freshly fired up Marlboro Light, please let me know.

I started vaping six months ago wanting that Marlboro tobacco taste. Haven't found it but I've stayed with the tobacco flavors. The only one I have found that gives me the best "smoker satisfaction" is the 24mg Flue Cured Tobacco. To me it's not sweet or nutty or anything but "tobacco-y". In fact, the first pull I took on Flue Cured actually made me cough. No other had done that before. My standbys, if I run out of Flue Cured, are the USA Mix (commonly known as Marlboro) and Virginia.
I don't care for the sweet flavors. My wife vapes things like Candy Cane, Bubblegum, Cotton Candy, etc. No thanks.

My experience is limited, I've tried maybe 7 or 8 flavors of tobacco, but I really like the Flue Cured flavor. It tastes strongly of tobacco, and with a level of nicotine that gives you a good throat hit, seems to simulate an analog decently to me. I think this Flue Cured is usually the DeKang flavor. I also like the Marlboro flavor. I remember I also tried Camel, Hilton, Winston, and 555 but did not like them as much- the flavor didn't seem as cigarette-like.
but everyone's different in their tastes, I would agree that a sampler pack of different types is a good idea.

Since my last post I also have now tried French Pipe, Cigar, and Turkish Blend, and found them all worthwhile. If you wanted a cigar, the cigar flavor certainly is close enough to satisfy that desire. And the french pipe does taste similar to the way pipe tobacco smells (i've never used a pipe). The Turkish Blend tastes similar to the french pipe to me.
I also got this tobacco flavored eLiquid doubler from Tasty Vapor that I use to mix down high mg tobacco flavor to a lower mg. At first it's flavor put me off- I think partially because of the citric acid in it- but now I've developed a taste for it, and it seems to make the tobacco flavors taste more like a cigarette than just like the way tobacco smells when not burning. Just my experience, others mileage may vary.

I am new to vaping but I was also looking for the tobacco taste. I tried Virginia, Flue Cured, TAB and Marlboro right away. None of them did it for me. I did find a solution quickly though, blend flavors. I think the next step it to just mix my own.

Liberty Flights has a Perique flavoring that is very good. I used to smoke American Spirit Perique Blend and was so happy when I found this. I got this today and mixed it with some Virginia and it is excellent. Very strong tobacco flavor. I also mixed some with Virginia, Cigar and perique, also a very good tobacco flavor.

I also should add that I am on the east coast and receive my package from Liberty Flights in 2 days.

When I first started vaping and reading this forum, I couldn't understand why all those hard core ex-smokers were messing around with fruit and candy flavors. But then, after a couple weeks, I realized I really didn't like the taste of tobacco. That's when I got into all those fruity, candy and coffee treats - even pairing them with different foods and occasions like you would a nice wine. I think it's a road many of us travel once it dawns on us that those cigs didn't taste very good at all - nasty, in fact.
