Wow, haven't been around here in a long time. Well, after two years of vaping I'm finally going to get into DIY. I've got my orders all ready but I am looking for some specific flavorings.

I usually hate tobacco juice, but Midnight Apple and Torque56 from Halo are two of my favorite juices. I've done a lot of searching and found that Totally Wicked used to sell the flavoring used in Torque, but they stopped some time ago. Has anyone found anything similar to it? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks mates!

Just wanted to say howdy and nice site you have, Hoosier.
:)

Howdy, but you can thank capt.n.coke and Trepalium for the site, but I'll pass it on to them at our next Hoosier Vapers meeting. (In fact capt.n.coke has started the work on a new version where we can organize the research, legislation alerts, vape meets, and etc to make it a better place for Hoosiers to find what they need.)

Since it was brought up, I have to plug the next Indiana vape meet-up being hosted by Vapor Bank in Evansville Indiana on 11/17 starting at 4pm. There are more folks in Kentucky and Illinois closer than me, but I'll be there to support John's first vape meet at his new store.

OK, now that that silly stuff is out of my system, back to a thread trying to find a way to make Midnight Apple and Torque56 type juice...

This thread http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/108500-halo-freedom-smooth-torque-recipes.html starts with the TW stuff and goes dead, but there is a post near the end where someone is attempting to recreate.

Never attempted it myself.

Yeah, I read through that thread and came out thoroughly disappointed now that TW doesn't offer the flavor. Also, hi Hoosier!

Believe Halo's Torque has some tobacco blend with Belgian cocoa flavoring in it, you'd have to find a belgian cocoa flavor concentrate. I'm not sure who carries it.

Try a non (ALC) tobacco concentrate with a low % of cocoa added and a low % of koolada. Let it steep a few days, revisit it to see if u need to tweak it some.

Oh man, totally forgot about the cocoa in there. Looks like the Midnight Apple is going to take priority for now.

I've always gotten a very strong green apple flavor out of it, so my original thought was TPA Green Apple. But the product description from Halo calls it a "spiced Granny Smith". The tobacco flavor in there is what really confuses me. When I've had MA, I can always tell theres something there in the background but IMO it isn't obvious that its a tobacco. Its just sort of this complex bit that compliments the apple very well.

Opinions?

Try to make a better Apple based ejuice. I make one called "Apple Moon Rox."

Bought these flavorings from WL, I'm filling ejuice bottles in between typing so I can't tell u if they were TPA flavorings (most likely) or another.

7% Granny Smith green apple
3% Cotton candy (FAIR type)
2% koolada
2% tobacco absolute (ALC)

86% nic base (nic/pg/vg of your choice, I use 60% PG 40% VG, and make it 15 mg nic)

Does the Granny Smith have any sourness to it? I ordered the green apple because I figured it would be a bit sour.
