Got into DIY a while ago. Decided to grab a bunch of flavors from tpa after ordering some nic and pg from another vendor. I picked up some tobacco absolute, m-type, their straight tobacco, and ry4 asian. Whilst tobacco Absolute smells promising, I tried to make the dilution with 40% vodka, and after a week and countless hot waters baths theres still oil clinging to the sides of the jar as well as staying suspended in the solution. I am going to try some PGA, was just trying to avoid it due to the price. M-Type also doesn't seem bad, but my first few attempts at mixing it were just too strong. The other two "artificial" flavors are nothing like any of the other tobacco juices I've tried. Both are much too sweet and they just don't taste right.

For my question, I would really like to know if anyone could recommend me a good artificial tobacco flavoring. I've heard a lot about flavorart desert ship, and think that might be good, but I also don't know which vendor to go to for FA stuff. Anywho, what flavor does everyone go to when they need a good tobacco base?

I'm pretty new to DIY and am still looking for good tobacco bases, but I'd say check this thread out:

I've tried the Real Cig and Honey Flu Cured Tobacco. Both on the sweet side, but there are others that aren't so and have been getting pretty solid positive feedback. I'm really hoping to get some of the French Pipe they have in stock presently (if it lasts until Thursday - don't buy it all on me!)

Scubabatdan has a calculator with recipe's and a number of simple pre-mixing tips and links at:

Also check out Seedman's if you haven't already Tobacco Flavorings for Home Grown Tobacco
