Tobacco Juices going FAST....Any Suggestions?

Hello Everyone!

About a month ago my husband and I decided to try quitting smoking & try out vaping.

I have been reading posts on here like crazy trying to figure out all the "do's" & "don'ts" to vaping. (Which all on its own can make you want a real cigarette!) lol

We started out with VapeDudes juices and due to many hours of reading I decided to place an order from Heather's Heavenly Vapes. (Which I am soooo glad we did!) Only one month in and I am on my second order from HHV.

He smokes clove cigars so he has been buying gourmet flavors. Where I smoke Marlboro Lights so I am still only wanting to try different types of tobacco's.

I have noticed that when I fill our clearomizers CE4 (his something fruity & mine a tobacco) mine always seems to be empty faster. We both use the same eGo-O CE4 System 1000mah (made by Vape Dudes) & can both puff the same amount of times, but it seems that the tobacco disappears at least 50% faster then his non-tobacco juices. I have searched all over the place, but I can't seem to find anyone asking/talking about if the tobacco e-juices 'burn' faster....Does anyone know if they do?

Thanks in advance for the help!

The juice could be different pg/vg ratios. Higher pg will go faster than vg. Also the way you take drags are probably different causing a difference in how much juice you use. Plus its near impossible that you at both taking an exact equal number of drags.

I wouldn't worry about using different amounts from each other. Chances you will never vape the same amount is slim. My husband uses half of what I do and I just don't think about it.

Thanks for the reply!

Sorry about that, I completely forgot to mention that both of our juices are 70/30. We ordered a ton of sample juices from heathers which on her site they state are 70/30 & 12mg nicotine.

But, I have noticed that when I exhale I get a much bigger puff/cloud of smoke then his seem to.

I not so worried about vaping more then him as much as I am just curious as to why it seems like after filling my clearomizer within a half hour and probably 20-30 puffs later it is empty again!?! Is that normal?

I have checked for leaks and haven't seen any. It just seems weird that he can use his for hours and mine is lucky to last one.

Again, any help/ideas would be appreciated!

Aside from what's stated, I'm wondering if his CE4 is a higher ohm. Actually, I don't even know if they come in different ohms but these types of devices can vary a small amount anyway. If he's been using the same one for a while that could be the case. Only an ohm checker or multimeter would reveal the truth though. More than likely it's the difference in draw though.

Another small bit of observation I've made through my vape adventures, every tank I've ever tried uses more liquid (especially BCCs) than anything else. I switched to dripping 99% of the time and my juice consumption went down even though I'm still vaping as I normally would.

Hope that helps :vapor:

I would say that the larger clouds you are producing would be the answer. Like mentioned before, you may be taking longer and softer drags which is actually what you want, or your device is functioning more efficiently than his. If you have read many posts on here you will notice that almost everyone is in the pursuit of more flavor and vapor until they find a satisfying experience. So, I would say kudos! You are progressing nicely. :) Have you tried his setup and he use yours for a tank or so? I would be curious to see the results.

It's the liquid that creates the cloud...:)...seems you have the slow, gentle, long draw necessary on a PV down better than he does. He'll catch up to you with a little practice...

LOL! I guess I am a faster learner.

Thanks for all the tips everyone. I tried switching batteries (at least that's what I believe its called). Last night my battery was charging so I put my clearomizer on his and the taste, flavor, and "smoke" all seemed to be exactly the same as mine. I have also taking a few puffs of his juice from his clearomizer and it seems to be the same "smoke" output as mine.

So it must be me! All this time I was looking at my juice going down wondering what the heck is going on and what am I doing wrong.. when I was actually doing something right, it seems. lol

Well, thanks again everyone. I am glad I now know & I am sure I will have many more questions to come!
