Anyone else have the problem of tobacco blends tasting like burning wood/wood smoke? I've tried a few blends from different companies and I want to like them but they taste like burning wood. It's not a good burning flavor, either. I've found one that is a blueberry tobacco that is amazing, it has nothing of that nasty burning flavor. Anyone have suggestions of tobacco blends that are good? Is it just me that has noticed this or doesn't like it?

It seems that every tobacco flavor ive come across tasted more like tobacco tea rather than a cigarette, which makes sense since there is no combustion with vapor (unless you're burning the wick). I havent done a tobacco flavor since my first week of vaping because of that. I wonder if juice makers are adding in smokey flavor to give it that combustion feel

It tastes exactly like that! Like they have added liquid smoke to their juice. I don't want liquid smoke taste, I want the tobacco flavor.

+1 to Funky Tobacco flavored juices. Damn near moved me to abandon Vaping in the first month. Then, I got some great advice from a Vet Vaper who told me to move to Juices with my favorite Fruits and/or Candy Flavors. Said it's not as much that the Juices sucked (tasted like musty Chocolate & Nuts stored in a damp sock to me), just that I was too new to Vaping and still psychosomatically tuned to Cig taste and aroma. That until I got past that, nothing would satisfy and to hold on to the futile attempt to mimic that was endangering my chances to make the Transition. So, followed that Advice and 4 years later it's all good and am loving the Hobby and Vape Life.
Actually made great Sense as most gravitate and heavily partake in their Fav Candies and Fruits when attempting to kick the Camels off the backs to offset Cravings.

That being said and done, about a year ago I started trying some Vape-Bud's Tobaccos and they are pretty damn good tasting and even better smelling to me now. Especially the Pipe Tobaccos. Actually, already put a 30ml of Coumarin Pipe Juice on the List to order next.

If it ain't Floatin your Boat and especially if it's turnin' you off, dump the Tobaccos ASAP for now and try the above.
Hope this helps and keeps you not only on the Vaping but loving doing so as it did for me and countless others.

I completely agree with H44. Your taste buds just don't like those flavors. Move onward and upward. I found bakeries like butter pecan and various vanilla's worked for me in the beginning. Go to a vape shop and smell a lot of juices. They don't always taste like they smell but they are usually in the neighborhood and you will start to learn what smells equate to taste you might like. The search for ones All Day Vape is a journey, and for some a never ending one.

Welcome to ECF. Your in the right place. You never have to smoke another cigarette again.

Try Hangsen's tobacco blends. They have a large following among many who experimented across the market. Caterpillarvapes sells premixed in the US and is a reputable supplier.

Hangsen make my favourate RY4. I get it in 100% vg and it's my all day vape.
I wouldn't recommend their drummer flavour though, tastes awful. Tryed it because I used to smoke drum tobacco but was very disappointed with it.

I couldn't do tobaccy flavers either until I started mixing my own. I think you were asking about it yesterday? Flavour Art has some good ones. I mix the Royal and 7 Leaves half and half up to 10% and add about 5 drops/10 ml of TFA Bourbon. It's a nice sweet/mellow tobacco flavor with an oaky kick from the bourbon. The 7 leaves is not a stand alone flavor, so do't try that. But it rounds out other tobacco flavors nicely.
