I've been in the market for a KFL+ clone to go along with my KF3.1. Generally speaking I tend to stick with Hcigar and Ehpro, but while I happened to be in a local vape shop I noticed they had Tobeco KFL+ clones for just $41.

Are these any good? How do they compare with the Hcigar and Ehpro clones?

What local shop did you see these in? I've been interested in picking one up too, but haven't found any locally.

Are these any good?

I love my Hcigar Kayfun 3.1 clone. Wanted to get the KFL+ "just because". Primarily to have to use for an alternate juice flavor without having to go through the hassle of changing everything out.

I would not hesitate to recommend the Hcigar or Ehpro Kayfun clones, just not sure about the Tobeco.

As for the shop, it's Uvapez in Allen. Far north Dallas area. Quite the drive from Arlington.

$41? I just got a Kayfun Lite Plus online for just $24.99. Is there any difference?

There can be. I know that there is a 4 channel KFL clone that a lot of people seem to have problems with. I know that on early Tobecos there were a lot of manufacturing problems in regards to excess material being left in the channels, blocking some of the flow. I've heard that has been corrected in the new ones but I wanted to make sure before I bought one.

Hcigar and Ehpro are high quality 1:1 clones. The closest you can get to the real thing without spending in excess of $100. I'm hoping the Tobeco is of equal quality since it's priced better and I can buy it local, but I don't want to spend $40+ on one only to find it's significantly lower quality than the Hcigar and Ehpro clones.

Myself and one of the guys at a local vape shop both had TOBECO versions of the KFL+ and they both couldn't hold a vacuum, causing the infamous leaking problem. I have 4 EHPRO clones and they have all been great.

Thank you, that's exactly what I wanted to know.

I was tempted by the price, but I knew they've had problems. I would rather spend a little more and get a high quality clone than try to save a few $$ and end up with something that doesn't work right.

If it is the Silver Edition
WITH adjustable center pin

YES - it is worth buying. This is their Rip of the Black Edition they did by Special Request for a Vender that sells on Ebay. He spec'd out several upgrades and they built in accordance.
Now that the contract has been filled, they are offering their own clone of their clone.(upgraded)

I have 2 of the Black Editions and they are incredible machines.

And just so you know - I have a $14 Kayfun Lite that will run with an EHpro or HCigar all day long........and into the night:D
It is all in your willingness and ability to tinker.:2cool:

I have a Tebeco KFL+ and it is great, the seller told me it was HCigar top end unit but box says Together Best Cooperation so it is clearly Tebeco...lol.

No complaints at all here, had to clean it like crazy when I got it because I could smell the machine oil but it works very well. Going to order another but this time am hunting for HCigar or EHPro as they are supposed to be a little better quality. I'll be able to compare then.

I must have the silver edition then because I have the adjustable center pin. Good to know.

I have a ToBeCo and just got an EhPro today. They're both great. The channels on the EhPro are nicer, and the airhole seems a big bigger, but that's the only real difference. Hopefully the ToBeCo you saw has the newer fill hole screw. Mine stripped out in two weeks. I replaced it with a screw from a laptop, and it's fine, but in principle you shouldn't have to do that kind of thing.

I have the tobeco kfl+ and had a leaking issue if I filled through the fill port at the bottom. I fill up from the top (which must be done a certain way) and have no issues anymore. Works great for me.

KFL+ - Leak issue filling from bottom:
Completely blocking the fill hole - no way for air to bleed out - forcing air/liquid through chimney
Problem - using Bottle tip pressed against hole or using to large a needle on syringe.
Solution - fill with syringe and 22ga. needle or needle tip bottle.

Next? :)
