Have a problem. Having trouble evening out dual coil. One burns hotter than the other, but they burn even. Any ideas?

Are the coils exactly the same in the number of wraps and diameter?...are the post screws all tight?
Assuming yes, then I would squeeze just the hotter coil with some tweezers. That may slow the heating enough to match the other.
I had the same problem yesterday - I could not get two coils of exactly the same size and number of wraps to fire evenly. I checked to make sure that the screws were all tight, but could not make it work and ended up replacing the hotter coil.

I'll try squeezing the hotter coil...that is something I haven't tried...I did everything else...thanks.
