Hey guys, I'm torn between the two. Tobeco make very good clones and both of these have great reviews.
People say the mini produces better flavour. However, I've kind of had my heart set on the standard size just because I like the look of the extra height. I've already got a similar height RDA as the mini with my IGO-W so fancied a change. The standard Velocity is nowhere near as tall as a regular tank setup either.

So, am I going to miss much with flavour if I go for the standard or does the standard produce good enough flavour anyway? And does anyone think the standard height Velocity would look a bit silly on my sigelei 50w mod or look fine?

My mini just dropped through the letterbox. Only ordered it yesterday :) Off to build it now.
Actually, I'l stick it through my new ultrasonic cleaner first to get any machine oil off.

Hey guys, I've built the Velocity Mini with dual coil. Actually my ever dual coil on any device. Very easy on this I must say. 24 gauge SS 317L 8 wraps 3mm coming out at 0.3ohms. There's no doubt it's an amazing RDA. Chucking clouds to about a 7 foot distance.

But I think I built it too low, because my mod only does 50w and at the moment I'm at 50w with only 3.4v. What ohm and gauge do you recommend I should build?

I have 28, 26 and 24 SS 317L wire. I'm really not into hot vapes. I tried vaping this with the adapter and my own stainless steel drip tip doing mouth to lung and found it too warm and uncomfortable. Not like it was burning my tongue but just like warm steam which I don't find enjoyable. I'm new to direct lung hits anyway. I kind of enjoy it for clouds, but I'm really after more flavour. When I put the chuff cap back on it was much nicer, a fair bit cooler and less aggressive. Should I be going for sub ohm or maybe over 1 ohm and less wattage? I was once considering buying a mod that does over 100w but now i'm not sure that higher watts would suit me.

Is the atty itself drilled. Is there a squonk hole in the atty?
To clarify; The Tobeco Velocity mini's in my possession are furnished with a separate BF pin. The Tobeco standard Velocity is neither drilled nor does it come with a separate BF pin.

...and wa la, bottom fed topper:vapor:

I hate it when people do the very sh%t that I'm doing right now (Haha lol)... which is to correct you - because a lot of folks (here in the good ole USA make this mistake of expression - they just don't know) - no such thing as "wa la" - however it's mis-spelled - It's "voila", said with a V. The expression means "there it is" or "there you are". It's french, a language I don't speak. Now you might not give a crap about this but... look at this this way; I've just upgraded your communication skills. If anything, you'll appear much smarter in print. (lol). - Sorry, I couldn't help myself. :)

You unscrew the pin which holds the positive post in place , replace it with the pin with the hole (feed hole, squonk hole) and wa la, bottom fed topper:vapor:
Does the positive post have a hole in it? I understand how a squonk pin works. If there is no place for the squonk to go........and if the atty comes bottom fed, with a squonk hole drilled on the positive post but has no squonk 510 pin, the juice will.......

So your mini came with a squonk hole drilled into the deck or posi post of the atty but with a solid 510 pin?
