Hey everyone,

So I just bought the Tobh Atty...I am thoroughly impressed with how easy the deck is to build on, a major issue with me considering this is my first rda. I'm currently running a single coil, .26 gauge Kanthal A wire with it because my battery can't handle a dual coil of the same type. The air flow is phenomenal, with huge vapor production. The battery I'm using is a Kanger EVOD Mega 1900 may battery. I know, it's not what I should be using, but it's the only thing at my disposal right now. The only complaint I have is sometimes the top piece will pop off in my pocket. I don't know if that's because it is in my pocket or just the design of the Atty, but I can probably just throw bigger O-rings on it and it'll be fine. For 30 some dollars this is a steal, in my opinion, for a starter rda. If anyone has any more information they would like to share with me, feel free. If you want to criticize my battery choice...well it's a free world I suppose. I'm new to vaping and any help, tips and tricks you'd want to tell me, I'd appreciate the words. If you want pictures of my build, ask and I'll post them. Thank you everyone, have a happy hump day!

Kanger EVOD Mega: Output voltage: 3.7V , Output current : 2.5A

Not sure what kind of regulation or discharge control that thing has on it. But 6 wraps of 26g is going to get you well under 1 ohm which would be drawing double the 2.5 rated amps at 3.7v.. I'd hope it doesnt give you the full 3.7V or you'd already be having trouble I think.. Maybe use more wraps or smaller wire or I am just missing some part of this equation. Or maybe feeding the troll?

I'm not trolling and really don't know the wrap, I was just guessing. I honestly just threw it on there without thinking.

I never use an ohm meter and it irritates me sometimes how people act like it is such a big deal. In this case it is, youre probably around .6ohms and that battery will only handle it for so long. You need to either get a meter or do 12+wrap single coils. For $45 you can get a clone a battery a meter and charger. It doesnt look half bad though

Disclaimer: I use regulated boxes which has a Meter and mechs with good batteries so im not worried.

Well, specs say its only pushing 3.7 v and has short protection, so obviously your resistance is high enough to work.

But 3/7 is kinda low for a starting point if it's working enjoy it .
But moving to a more powerful mod will light that Atty up.

Yea! Dang those do gooders being all concerned with safery and stuff, how dare they make sure newer vapors are safe and don't blow off a finger and stuff like that!!!!!

Might wanna check out the picture of the exploded mod in this thread and then tell us why we shouldn't care if people are safe and smart.

Bet you would care about double checking your build if that was your mod that did that.
