I have a 5 post RDA mod questions on build

I have a 5 post rda that says its a tobh Atty v2 I want to know if I can just do two coils instead of four

For sure - you just have to use the center post for each...and get the air lined up good...

You can even build one coil and run it a 2 ohms/6.7w.

I just tried running two coils with 24g wire and it burned them in half and its a hades mech mod with a 3500mAh 3.7v battery any suggestions

You most likely had a short.

Yeah, short or the wrong wire. Did you measure the resistance on those coils? Too low and it might have burnt them from the current (may the angels and saints of heaven forefend.)

Yeah, that...is not good.
I never...NEVER...push a fire button without first checking the resistance of the build.
I'll even RE-check the resistance after wicking, and with the cap on - just to be SURE I don't have a short (I use some small RDA's where you can short by the coil touching the cap, too).
