Real quick...anyone know if its a reallyyyy bad thing if the copper plating on a 510 connection starts to wear off?

Looks like mine is wearing off on the Tobh clone I have. Looks like brass underneath so I think I'm ok but can't find by searching what might happen and if I'm still safe.

Ohms still read the same.... Tobh still fires.

I'm guessing I just loose the conductivity advantage of the copper...but I want to play it safe so I thought I'd ask.

Thank you!!!

Since there are mods totally made from copper - you'll be fine - the general worry comes from juice coming into contact with those metals and things like lead, for example leaching into your juice.

Not very likely. A copper or brass inner on the inside of a tank - maybe!

Thanks guys!! I actually said screw it while I was sitting here and took an emery board to it. I'm guessing its brass under the coating. Its shining brighter then a new penny now. The crappy copper coating on the clone is completely gone. I hate coatings on rda's! I just never had one wear off like this. I can tell its hitting harder and man it looks so much nicer now!

Appreciate such a fast response from you 2 :2cool:
