so after i recent thread i now know not to vape copper or brass, so ive been sticking with ss. i dont even want my copper tobh anymore. my zenith clone (now with a green AFC ring from an online vendor which looks amazing) has been my go to rda. but ive been looking for something even better, so i have a mephisto on preorder and ive had a plume veil for almost a week now. the delrin insulator seems to be a new standard for my RDAs. the plume veil...it might beat the zenith! the airflow is amazing. the plume veil has a 24k gold plated deck. why they plated only the deck and not the rest im not sure. but im wondering if its safe to vape. can anyone give me info in this?

Think I'll stick to scientific studies.

I attribute much of the information passed around to misunderstanding, lack of factual knowledge of materials in use and Profiteers steering people toward specific materials/designs.

People eat gold flakes... I'm sure we are ok. About the only thing I would avoid is cheap brass that contains lead... that being said, I've yet to come across anything vape related with brass that contains lead.

If I would believe everything that I hear... I would be living in a plastic bubble.

Well it is probably gold electroplated. do they say what the base metal is because a micron layer of gold wont keep you away from much. If it does it wont be for long. One of the best metals to GEP is nickel. Lots of allergys to that. I think I will stay with SS.
