I have the p3. And a Hana 40. They both do what they are supposed to. And do it well. But honestly. It's either box style. Or tube It's either dripper or tank. Everyone has their personal preference. And I am glad to know there is quality gear out there to satisfy anyone's vaping needs. The p3 is a work horse tho It is my everyday all day mod.

And to the OP. That's a great move. I am boxing up a 2.5 and sending to a friend this weekend as well. It's always great to help others. Always

My subjective opinion is yes. Also the eleaf istick seems to have replaced the mvp for the beginner market, those things are sweet!

I have 2- MVP2, VTR and 2- Isticks but I just cannot get into box mods. I use them all in situations but I prefer tubes. Never thought I would be a Provari fan but I do like mine I bought a month ago out of trading post here for $115. Will I get a P3? Doubt it but would like to buy a 2.5 in black/red or black/white.

i think a mvp beats a provari only in watts is it better than a provari NO never. after i get a P3 and another dna 40 im givin away my zombie mini as well. my friend really likes his new mod. im glad he will put it to use theres a old v max is on its way out to...lol......cleaning house

I am not a box mod fan in particular, but have fallen in love with my VS rDNA 40. I never (well - rarely) use the full 40 watts, but all of the other functions (like being able to fire on virtually ANY ohm coil safely) are priceless. I was waiting on the P3 for my next big purchase, but at the last minute decided on the VaporShark. At this point in time, not only do I have no regrets, but am grateful I went VS over P3. Incredible quality - no limitations.

Its not possible to compare provari to many of the mods just on watts. I think thats something provari owners just know. Good karma to pass on what worked for you.

The temp control on the DNA40 is a game changer for me. I have 4 Provari's but the Vapor Shark DNA 40 has been really nice. I prefer a tube mod as they sit in my change holder in the truck perfect, but that is a small thing compared to the benefits of the temperature control option. I think Temp Control will be the future of mods once the testing is completed regarding burnt ejuice and health effects.
