Hello all, just got my cloud9 set this p.m. and finally matched up parts and I think it works. The first couple of inhales, I didn't notice much, but the 3rd one, I got vapor. I understand from reading some threads here that is a "good thing".

I have a couple of items I'm not sure what they are. I think one is a spare vaporizer (but why is it in a metal tube?), and the other looks like a little tiny sample bottle of perfume. I'm thinking that it is a sample of "juice". If anyone know, I'd appreciate it, if not, I can call their help line in a couple of days. Probably stay busy just reading directions this week.

Any advice, tips, tricks with Cloud 9 appreciated, and glad to be here.

I will try and open that little tiny bottle when I empty one of the carts. The guy who took my order told me how to put some drops in even one of the pre-filled cartridges. Of course I got plenty of cartridges, but it would be even cheaper to learn how to fill them. And I want to try a "flavor". I'm thinking Java since I love coffee.

Those "carts" will need to be repeatedly filled almost every day. Not sure how big the bottle of juice you got is, mine was fairly big (I think I got a 10ml at least and another one).

#1. Go looking around the forum, there are probably 9,456,976 flavors at this very moment throughout the internet :D and I bet 100's are coffee...

#2. Make sure you know how much you're using and you won't run out anytime soon, want to make sure you stay electric and away from the tobacco :)

Okay..... I don't have a clue how I'd know how much I'm using. Do I keep up with the "drags" on it, or do I just put some in each day?

I guess I need to read the whole manual for a start - but thank you and I'll sure check out this forum - it has a LOT of info. and helpful people.

Thank you

I'm also new, I found the reviews and manuals only help for so long, then it's practice/trial&error.

I think all you need to do is keep fluid on you, then vape. You have an issue (i.e. not enough vapor) start refilling. Listen for noises and try and figure out what's going on.

I have NO idea how long until I finish a cart, but I do know I'm over-filling because of the gurgling noises. No idea how to perfect it, but maybe in a few days or weeks :)

As far as how long it's taken me to finish a cart, I don't think I can compare to cigarettes, but I think maybe 3-5 cigs on my 510 or so. I definitely get more than the amount of drags the above poster mentioned, I get at least over 10, but I also am new and I'm probably taking smaller drags.

The problem with "how much does my cart last for" is that there are all the variables: cart size, filling, type of PV used, type of juice used, how hard you are pulling/how often you are pulling. Jeez I can't even figure it out myself, I'm hoping that after a few weeks/months I'll know how much liquid I'm using per day a little better!

So this means it's not a 580 or 801? Something different huh? Why do I always start with something strange? Thank you for your help.

The RN4081 is not strange, just not as popular as some of the others. It has it's own place on this forum so there are others out there. I actually started with one of those, so I know it works. If the rest of us are any example you'll probably want another ecig future regardless of what you start with :).

One note on filling your cart. These carts are a two piece design, so the cup that actually holds the liquid is down inside the mouthpiece. Take a paperclip and insert it into the mouthpiece hole and you will be able to push the cup out of the mouthpiece. Now you can top it off with juice. Periodically you will want to pull the batting out, rinse it under warm water and dry it off. Fill the cup with your liquid and then push the batting back in. Finally, push the cup back into the mouthpiece. The head of a ten-penny nail is perfect for this, BTW. With the RN4081 you can also put the cup onto the atty and then use that to push it into the mouthpiece.

Best of luck with your new e-cig!

wow, just read my last post to you, and I forgot the "quote" marks...looked a lil different than I intended :( I meant to look up videos on "how to vape" properly with ur model, not as a sarcastic remark like I JUST realized it looked like...

I hope you didnt take it wrong, but my oh my when I just revisted this thread n read my comment, I DID see it as rude...my apologies! ;)

Hi Guys, I'm new to the forum, but not new to smoking....!
I've been polluting my body for 43 years, time to do something good for myself.
I've been watching and reading for over a year now, and waiting for the prices
to go down....LOL

I got my first e cig about three weeks ago now, and bought and extra 2 boxes of
carts to go with it..
At first I though I was doing something wrong, because there was very little vapor
then I read a reply from another person who bought the same product and they said
the carts were not filled properly and there was very little juice in them........

So that answered my question there, then I bought a second e cig a black one this time
and thinking I'm clever bought it in pieces and not in a kit form, it did work out heaps cheaper.
But even though it looked the same size etc, it wasn't LOL, so now I have to get a charger for it ....!
Live and learn hey guys...hahahaha!

I found that 2 or 3 drops of juice in the cart was enough, if it's over full you will hear a popping sound or a mouthful of juice.....LOL ( I copped that a few times )!
I have found YouTube invaluable, there is a wealth of information there on Vaping, and pretty much anything you need to know about e cigarettes.

So I was on YouTube last night and was checking out how to drip smoke an e cigarette.
Of course I had to try this, and it's awesome, I love it, copious amounts of vapor....whoo hoo...!
I will probably wreck the atomizer doing this too often LOL

But as pipskicks said, it really is trial and error, you have to get used to using it, and you do start to work out preferences very quickly.

For example I'm not happy with the very short lifespan of the batteries, so I'm already looking to buy my third rig, I just don't know what to get.
I want to be able to drip without wrecking it, I want it to work on lithium batteries, so I can go for 6 - 8 hours without mucking around with batteries all the time.
I don't want it to be too big or bulky, so if you know anything that may suit, please feel
free to recommend something to me, I'm very open to suggestions, thanks for listening.
Because I'm in Australia, I bought a 30ml bottle of juice, it can take weeks for orders to arrive, better to have more than not enough, it's too easy to fall back on normal cigs when you run out if you don't cover yourself.

I don't know what my e cigarettes are as they are numbered differently to what is written about in the forum...
My first one is Super Mini Electronic Cigarette 201 8589
The second one is Mini e Cigarette 103
I have no idea what the equivalent is, dose anyone know?

And thank you to cyberwolf, I didn't know your could rinse out the batting in the carts, this would give them a much greater lifespan. Rather than refill 3 -4 times and through them out.
Crashtestjeep, I didn't read what you wrote as rude either, as they say our harshest critic is ourselves.....
Looking forward to hearing from you and getting to know every one....
