um like E-Cigarette Forum - Search Results ? my brain hurts trying to read that its too late z_z

No, that shows all my own posts in chronological order with a message preview. What I'm talking about is totally different - it shows threads (not posts) I've posted to, AND lists them in order of those that have had the most recent responses from other people. So if I last posted to a thread a year ago, and someone posted to that thread one minute ago, that would be the first result in the list of threads.

Try doing an Advanced Search on your own username to see what I mean. Besides doing the Subscription thing, it's the best way I know to navigate threads you're interested in that have new posts, assuming you've posted to them previously.

I mean, as it is now, does anybody actually use the "Your Posts" Quick Link? What's the point of looking at a chronological list of your own posts? You typed them yourself, recently! lol

Thanks for listening, thanks even more if you do it!

I was trying to think of what you would best call such a button/link, with marginal results...

"Your Threads" - (short, but that wrongly sounds like threads you started)
"Threads You've Posted In" - (Most descriptive, but kinda long, eh?) so...
"Threads Posted In" - (Slightly shorter version of above)
"Your Active Threads" - (slightly ambiguous and a bit long)
"Responses" - (shortest, but most ambiguous)

That's all I got for now. Anybody got anything better?

Maybe that's why such a thing was never put in place - nobody could figure out what to call it!

wow this thread got huge

Someone's Quote:

I asked Angus about streaming the suppliers posts to avoid them vying to stay on the front page of 'Today's Posts'. Lo and Behold! He's only gone and made it happen and what an amazing difference it makes. I have been around herea long time and that is the single greatest improvement that has been made. I can't tell you how happy I am and justhow much more impressive it looks to visitors and members alike. Thanks to everyone concerned with this and avery big thanks to Angus who has proved that it is possible to be a mod AND human!! )))

I have made two posts since the switch, and neither brought the threads to the "new posts" page.

Because a post made by you is not "new" to you, since you made the post in the first place. It would however, appear on the "new posts" section on my view of the forum.
