I had a question about using TVN... I just registered and tried to access the chat room on the main page but then it asked me to register for Stickam... so I tried to register for that and it said a facebook account is required. I don't have a facebook account and really don't want one.
Do I need to register for Stickam to watch the Vaping Canuckleheads Show and take part in the draws? Am I doing something wrong? I wanted to try to set it all up so I could take part tomorrow night.

no you dont need a facebook just an email. register on stickam as a new user then use that to log on to TVN. hope this helps
I followed the link to Stickam registration, filled everything out and clicked join, and I get a message in red saying "Facebook account is required." I never clicked the signup with facebook option at the top, after filling out email, name, bday etc... it still says it requires facebook.

Unfortunately you do need a Facebook account to register on Stickam. Not sure when they put that in place but it's the only way now (heard this from their customer support)
I figured that.... now that facebook is a traded company they probably require any affiliates to require membership in order to keep their numbers up and therefore their share prices.
That sucks. I left facebook years ago and I am not willing to reactivate. I guess I could setup a fake account just for TVN but I would rather stay clear of their website, software(spyware) and cookies.

What also sucks is how many ipod apps these days try to force you to join or interact with facebook.

You need a facebook to sign up for a stickam acct???? That is total you know what. Glad i got in before that crappy rule.
Just make a new one with no actual info/pics/friends.... worked for me.... then it's just the 'PITA' factor (pain in the hiney) to be frustrated with
