Every new person I show my ecig too has a problem getting big plumes. Its the mentality they have usually because they are cigarette smokers. vaping really is a lot different, in that you have to take slow long draws to almost full capacity. Most people that try my electronic just assume it isnt as good and continue on with the analogs.

I find myself in the same situation, that or they try and take a HUUGE haul only a madman would attempt them proceed to cough their face off and say how they don't like it. I always tell em, smoke it like a cig till they're used to it, and once they listen to me they usually comment on how smooth / good it tastes and feels compared to dirty analogs...So far I've converted 3 of my best friends who used to smoke to see the good side of the force :vapor:

don't take offense but maybe she needs to suck harder? lol, my wife does and she gets huge vapes but my friends who don't really smoke ecigs never get good hits. I always tell them they should hit it like a normal cig and less like a straw.

I have something of an opposite experience. It seems if I hit it like a cigarette all I wind up doing is sucking juice up into the air flow tube, flood everything and cause a gurgling mess. If I do a slow light and long draw it works beautifully. It is funny that you mention straws because that is exactly how I try to explain it... Draw like you are drinking water through a Bubble Tea straw rather than like trying to drink a milk shake through a coffee stirrer.

i seem to believe (through my own experimentation) that vapor production is technique sensitive. maybe you guys could try this, and tell me if im crazy or not;

relax, put the drip tip in your mouth, and push the button. dont inhale or put any suction on the tip at all. i can feel the vapor expanding in my mouth all on its own, with no help from me. pay attention to the rate of this expansion.

i find that giving just a little bit of positive draw, that is, suck just a tiny bit faster than the natural rate of expansion, provides the best vapor production.

not sucking at all seems to give tons of flavor, to me.

your results may vary =) but thats how i do it.

It is a moderation kind of thing imo.. You can suck too hard, or too soft. Get that sweet spot where you are getting enough airflow to draw the vaporized juice in, not letting it just hang there. Personally, I also think the draw helps with the wicking, suck too hard and you get that flooded, gurgling going on.. Dont suck hard enough, you just start to burn your wick up because it is not getting as much fresh juice to it. Could be wrong, but just my two cents.. I just try for that happy medium :).
