Too Frugal?

A few days ago I got ceramic wicks from Discount Vapor. Set up the wick with kanthal ribbon and unbeknownst to me I broke the wick likely while replacing the top cap. Anyway, it is wicking well and getting clouds of vapor. I have went through three tanks and even removed the piece that was left in the tank. So my question is ... Is it too frugal to have the thought process of hey, I don't need the whole wick to work so I'm planning on cutting them in half to get double the wick.

whatever works! if it still does well and you save money, then it is not too frugal, just frugal...lol

Quite a few people have used stubs from broken wicks, as long as it's long enough to get the coil around it and go far enough in the tank to contact the juice that's all you need. Might have to tilt a little more but it's still going to give just as good of a vape.
