Too many mods *sigh*

I'm reasonably new to this and I want to get a good 510 mod, but it seems like there are alot of mods and I dont know the difference. I like the look and price of the Silver Bullet, but I wish it had an led. Any advice/input thanks.

There's times when the LED is great, and other times when you'll find it attracts too much attention.

A good 3.7v mod that is 510 is the INdulgence. You can get it from US vendors like VaporJunction instead of ordering it from Eastmall. It also comes w/ adapters for the 808 and other attys, so you can use it to try a lot of different combinations.

At $60 for the unit w/ all 4 adapters, batteries (2x 900mAh), and a charger, you can't hardly go wrong!

to the OP - yeah, there are a lot of mods out now so it can be a little overwhelming. that list of different mods is really helpful to see what they all look like, what batteries they take and what voltages are available on them. good luck on your search!

I was considering a Chuck and a SB but went with the Lady Vypr from vaprlife.com. The price was great considering you get the batteries and charger with it. Plus, the led (which I love) can be turned off when you need to by turning the battery the other way. Right now, the 3.7 volts is perfect for me. I think that vaping a consistent 5V would choke me. The Vypr comes in red and black if you don't want the "femenine" version LOL. I am still waiting for shipments to start- they were on vacation so I can't actually give a review yet.

How bout making your own? Search for nicostik (or nicostick?) It is easy to make, cheap and you can add an led if you want or leave it off.

I'm going to make one as soon as madvapes gets their 14500 protected batteries back in.

Are 510 stock batteries 3.7v? I see the ego runs at only 3.7v and I wonder if thats good enough.

Both stock 510 batteries and the ego run at 3.2V.

Capacity. The battery for the eGo will last much longer than a standard 510 battery.

But does the Ego give better vapor than a standard 510? I heard the ego battery is more powerful so you can use a LR atty, but the standard 510 bat isnt powerful enough

The effective output voltage on the 510 & the Ego is 3.1V, not 3.7.

Out of all the 3.7v batteries I've used on a 510, the 18650 blows everything out of the water for consistency and performance. Forget about LEDs and go for the SB, you'll be clinging to it for a long time while you pass 14500 and lesser mods to the desk drawer.
