Hi all,

I haven't been on here in awhile as my Go-Go/Chopper tank system has kept me quite satisfied over the past year and I really haven't felt the need to stray. However, as I stare at my pile of dead batteries, some that just blink when you push the button even after charging them, others that just won't hold a charge anymore, etc. I thought I'd venture out and research my other options.

Wow, there are so many out there now! Can anyone suggest which battery/tank I should try? I vape the same juice all day every day and really just want a long-lasting no-fuss battery. I also don't like when things run "hot". Cool, strong throat hits are what keep me happy :) Thanks!

I still use the GoGos, but now (w/adapters) use the Kanger T2 clearos as my standard. The T2 is so easy to use, and simple to maintain I can't enjoy filler cartos anymore. :)

I'm really liking the Smok Telescope mod...all mechanical. You can put any type battery you like in there pretty much...16350, 18350, 18650...button top, flat top, li-ion, li-mn, li-po. No circuits to get fried. You can put a kick in there with a 18350 or 18500 if you are inclined to, for regulated wattage. A bit heavy, but you get used to it pretty quick...feels really solid and looks really good! DV has them now (YAY!) and they are a great reliable mod that ought to last a long long long time (since you can just change out batteries when you need to). You'll need a battery charger too, of course. I love mine!! I use 3.7 volt batteries and really like 2ohm single coil in a DCT type tank....or the eGo Mega single coil cartomizers The 1.7 ohm ones at DV also do quite well with this.

Just a suggestion. There are lots of possibilities to check out...you are sure right about that! Lots of things have changed even in just the past year!

If you like the go-go(which is what I use most of the time) and are finding it difficult to get the parts these days, I go for the same features and voltage types. Being that you are used to the 1300 mah Go-go batteries, I would not venture any further down than an 1100mah device. The Go-go is essentially an EGO on steroids without being regulated. I personally like the going from a fresh charged battery and as it slacks off during the day. I also have variable voltage devices and find I don't like messing with buttons and settings so I rarely use them. Lately I bought a Joytech 18650 EGO which is 2200 mah that can run in regulated and unregulated mode. I leave it in unregulated mode like the Go-go and it lasts nearly twice as long as the Go-go, without being too large like most other 18650 mods. You may like the 1300 mah EGO twist.

The only batteries I have found that compete with the Go-go is the standard (not vari-volt)KGO which is 1100 mah and the joytech 18650 EGO for the same 'type' of performance. By 'type' I mean with feel and performance while in use. I know there is higher end devices, but these fit my Go-go habit, if that makes any sense.

Thanks for all the advice everyone! I was looking into the Joytech Ego 18650 but not sure if I'm ready to start investing in special battery chargers and all that just yet. What if I just went with a regular Joytech Ego? It seems pretty easy to find those in a kit with all the stuff they need. Are there good tanks for that one? That Vision Viva Nova tank seems to get really good reviews. Will that work on a regular ol Joytech Ego?
