Hello!

I know many of the questions I have should go to specific forums but cant post in them just yet, and I have read many/most of the FAQs.

I just this week started using an e-cig (DSE901) and I had a few observations/questions.

It seems with the 901 I get really inconsistent performance. One hit I can get a good amount of vapor and a decent throat hit and the next its almost no vapor. Then after a hit or two it seems to work again. Am I doing something wrong? is my kit messed up? (using long slow draws on it)

One of my two automatic batteries the LED flashes endlessly when I put it on the charger, it seems like it charges fine but the other battery doesn't do this, is that normal?

I have been getting 6 to 8 refills i.e. drip more juice into them before they seem to not work quiet as well, is that normal?

Welcome to vaping it is definately a steep learning curve
The 901 is a very good beginners kit.

I am not sure what you mean by refills ??
Are you dripping the juice in to the atomiser and if so how many drops each time ?.

Or are you Topping off/up the cart ? if so how many draws do you get before you top it up and how many drops do you use each time ?.

The flashing battery is definately NOT correct they should flash when you first screw them in to the charger - after that it should sit at red slowly turn to orange then yellow and last of all green.

1st I would contact the seller about a replacement - its new and definately not performing as intended.
It should not really be down to you to mend it.

If all else fails try tapping it gently on the edge of a hard surface this can sometimes loosen the trigger.

Another trick blow in to the battery via the LED end but that is usually because liquid has seeped in to the battery head and caused it to jam.

Your kit is new and there should really be no liquid build up in there.

Unless you have been topping up/dripping more than required and flooded it.

If you get too much juice in there it will flood the atty and you won't get much vapor. Try taking the cart off the atty and blow through the atty to get the extra juice out. Then try a drag with the cart off..

I haven't tried the 901 or the autos.

You might want to try one of the cart mods as that seems to be the problem.

Howdy Sarlen!

Are you using the PCC (personal charger case) or the screw in type AC charger? I initially had issues with my PCC until I realised that you should charge it with no batteries inside for a good few hours and THEN screw the batteries in to charge them. Also helps with ALL 901 batteries to unscrew them soon after they've fully charged! Get your hands on a USB mini charger too - inexpensive and handy to test batteries with!

Thanks a bunch for replying folks, really appreciate it. I have to say I really like the PV, I have only had it a few days but since I started I have only had 3 analogs and even with those 3 I couldn't finish them, a few puffs and I had to put them out. I have tried everything under the sun to slow or quit smoking patches, drugs, gum, hypnotist...everything and this device has almost stopped my 22 year habit in its tracks.

I am dripping juice into the used up cartridge.

I seem to get around 20 or so good draws topping off the cart with 3 to 5 drops.

Its the screw in AC charger.

If all else fails try tapping it gently on the edge of a hard surface this can sometimes loosen the trigger.
Sweet!! this worked!
