So I ordered my first rda about a month or so ago and don't regret it one bit. Though I am having one problem, the throat hit. I have used up to 50/50 Vg/PG 26mg nicotine on my rda and will get a very harsh throat hit but no long term effects. Recently I have been buying 100% PG 12mg nicotine and the throat hit is not all that bad but woke up the other morning with a very sore Throat and some blood in my saliva. since then I have been giving the myself a break. Would this be from the 100 PG juice that I am using? If so I am tossing it in the trash can and buying some more 50/50.

PG is known for being a throat irritant to some people. Quick question not related to your inquiry-how much vapor does that 100% PG juice make? Just curious.
I'm running my RDA as a dual coil that meters at .07 ohm. I am running my VTR at 15 watts and 6 volts. Thus being said vapor production is subpar until a hit or two before I need to drip the cotton.

I didn't even know they made juice with 100% PG. I still like relatively high PG liquids. Between 70pg/30vg and 60pg/40vg with between 12 and 18mg nicotine. I like a good strong flavor and a solid throat hit. I tried a high VG liquid, and it's just not what I'm into. The flavor was muted, it gummed up my wicks and left a weird feeling in my mouth and throat. I still couldn't imagine using a 100% PG liquid, that sounds like it would tear your lungs up

After smoking for 35 years, I came to discover that throat hit became less important to me than flavor. I started vaping at 18mg nic, and the guy at the first b&m I went to was surprised I hadn't started at 24mg. Since I vape more than I did analogs, I simply cut the nic level to 12mg, and am now at 6mg, 50 PG 50 VG. That b&m I mentioned is Pink Spot Vapors and allegedly their juice is 40 PG/60VG. Other vendors I deal with I get 50/50 or 60/40. Too much VG, and the flavors gets muted somewhat; and since I'm not interested in filling the room with a big fog, I try to stick with the mentioned ratios for flavor. I use coils between 2.0 and 2.5 ohms and life is good. With the 14,951,829 flavors out there to evaluate (lol), I try to be nice to my throat.
