Depends on the vendor and the flavor. Watermelon, for instance, is usually pretty light wherever you get it and some vendors are known for strong juice while others are known for weak ones. Best to read the reviews of the particular juice at the site and see if most get a flavor bump or not or if they say its weak/strong.

A lot of it depends on the vendor. I think they advertise a cheap price and you have to buy extra flavor at a higher price. Some are just plain awful. I went to diy and solved the problem. I try new vendors every so often . The biggest problem is juice is so subjective, one likes this and the next person doesn't. If I have to order extra flavor just to get a whiff of flavor I will not use that vendor again.

You almost scared the #$%^ out of me till I looked at the vendors list and saw everyone I've ever ordered from (Johnson, HHV, MBV) is diacetyl free. Phew! Vape on!

scared the #$%^ out of me too.. but now, after reading up on this for an hour i have learned that 1) it takes a long exposure and high exposure to the stuff to affect you and 2) its one of the chemicals in tobacco cigarettes. (http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/tox.20153/pdf) so, although i will look in to whether or not its in any of the liquids i am using now, and if so ditch them, (after all, im doing this to be healthier) .. i really am a noob who cannot be at risk the time ive been vaping juices, and was also already putting it in my lungs my whole life w cigs along with arsenic, 3998 other chemicals etc :/ cant wait to detox.. yuck.

WHen buying PG or VG base to dilute a strong flavor, do you typically buy this from an e liduid vendor?

I'm with you. They're all just too strongly flavored - every juice I've tried. Since I don't know better, I bought the unflavored Fusion from Halo to cut the flavor in almost everything I vape. With some it's 1/3 or more, with others, I use less. It helps. Someone else here may have a better recommendation, but this is working for me right now.

I agree with the too much flavor and Ill bet there's others on the ECF like me. I think its a remnant of our smoking days. When you buy a flavored cigarette, like menthol, most of them are slightly flavored on top of the tobacco taste.
It actually saves me some money. When I buy a bottle of juice, I usually buy it at double the NIC level as I want, then I mix it 50/50 with straight VG. It lowers the NIC to where I want it and tones down the flavor. This works really well with some juices, but your mileage may vary. It saves money because the straight VG is dirt cheap and you double the amount of the juice you bought :)
