Tool for opening the top of the tank catridge

It may sound silly, but it is very hard for me to open the top of the tank catridges in order to refill tanks, especially type B. I have tried with every tool available in my warehouse but I ended up with scratches and broken nails . Now I refill them with a syringe but I would love to have something easier than that...
Do you happen to know any kind of tool that I can use for that purpose? Have you seen anything in any web e-cig shop that might help me in opening the tanks?

Syringe is really the easiest. That's the way I used to fill them. In a pinch I'd pry the cap off but I just used a syringe. Maybe someone else will have a better idea.

Uhm, I've used my nail file, a key, the peeling knife I use to peel my oranges, the knife from my sommelier set, and the tip of a ballpoint pen.

Yes, I 've been using the same stuff, that is how I got all the scratches - knifes and I don't get alone
There must be a better way...

Useing Random pointy tools to open the lid will cause it to get minor deformitys over time which will lead to leaks! Syringe really is the best way.

Amazing! This is what I use now! The problem is that it unfolds every time and I receive new scratches...
Today I have been to the dentist. You won't believe it, but while I was sitting at the chair of pain, the only thing I had in my mind was to ask him if I could search his tools in order to find a suitable tool to open my tanks! The dentist would think I am crazy or obsessed!

Don't use them much anymore, but I was using a dental pic (stainless steel) to pop them out.

Ah well, tanks are cheap. And I already got sets in lots of different colors, so I can keep track of what flavour is in which tank. So I am not really worried about leaking.

I've heard the soft caps are easier to work with, and also less prone to leak. They are very cheap, so maybe try some of those?

I don't use my tanks , but my wife uses hers and we just use the dropper bottle that most juices come in. The needle ones are better but the regular bottles work too. A whole lot easier than bust fingernails and a screwdriver in the eye.

That's where I get my 'hobby' dental tools. Just ask if they have or will keep for you damaged tools. Although they can't use 'em, you sure can! My dental hygienist was glad someone could use 'em.

At first, I used the side of the tanko to get the cap off of the tanks. After a while, I found out about the needle tip bottle caps. Now I use that to fill just about everything from cartos to tube tanks.

P.S. dental tools are a gift from heaven for vapers!!! theres many things their good for and theres usually a booth at the local flea market that sells them for like a buck a piece! i have a bunch!

Soft caps is what I use. I think they're about $2 for 10 silicone caps. You can get them at Cignot.com or Myvaporstore.com. They are a lot easier to work with and people say they leak less. Mine barely leaks anything with them.

I use this if the cap ends up still stuck on the spike when I remove the tank. Happened a few times

I use the soft caps. All you have to do is pull up on the piece of rubber that covers the top. No broken nails anymore. I had the same problem you did with mine when I first got my tanks. Plus they don't leak on me yet! There around $1.50 to $2 depending on where you get them from.
