I haven't experienced this myself but my girlfriend has, about 2-3 months after we started vaping, she started getting very bad toothaches, not all the time, but sometimes lasting for a few days, not sure if it was tied to a specific flavour as we were trying lots of different ones, but I would definitely be interesting in knowing if it is a specific flavour or ingredient that sets this off so she can avoid it.

A couple of thoughts - 1 it is a dry socket as a previous poster mentioned. 2) High PG can cause blisters and mouth soreness for some people who are sensitive to it (thats for another person who posted here) 3) Drink water. Lots of water - vaping is a dehumectant and it could be your teeth and gums are reacting to overdry conditions. Not good as that can cause a lot of problems. 4) Try brushing your teeth with sensodyne - sometimes our teeth look perfectly fine but have the tiniest hairline cracks or parting from the gums that exposes the nerves to various pain triggers. Mine for some reason is the strawberry in a Sees strawberry cream chocolate. Love them and end up hopping round the kitchen howling and gnashing my teeth for ages every time I have one. :)

I have experienced the EXACT same thing you have described. It's nice to see I am not the only one, because I started to think that no one else out there who's vaping is dealing with the same pain. I agree with you that there is something (perhaps a sweetener) or other ingredient that triggers the onset of the pain.

I too, have a sensitive tooth that has gone through root canal, that seems to get highly aggravated at times. I believe the start of it was due to over vaping in general, and vaping a juice that's sweet. But the interesting thing is, once my tooth starts to hurt, it's like it spreads throughout and all my teeth are in pain. The less I vape the better, I do feel an improvement when I wake up in the morning. The tooth pain itself is a heightened sensitivity, and sucking in and creating a coolness across your teeth and gums doesn't feel good, it actually hurts, so you tend to keep your mouth shut.

I also wondered if the act of vaping, (sucking) in the vapor and having the vapor be a constant affront to the teeth and gums could be causing this pain as well. I have to say, I am due for a checkup and can't wait to see how it goes, but I have a feeling the Dentist is going to be clueless and just suggest that I stop vaping and see how that goes. (That's not an option in my book). I've been vaping since Oct 1, and haven't had a cigarette and don't really want one. I do vape quite a bit, so maybe I need to chill for little and vape less and see how my teeth feel.

I was hoping that someone found some product out there that would provide some relief such as a sensitive mouth wash, or a gel that can be applied to gums and teeth.
