I just thought of this weird little fact while brushing my teeth this morning and the battery went dead. I don't have a back up battery for my toothbrush or the many other devices that run on batteries BUT I do have a fresh set in my PV and another set fully charged and a set in the charger. HMMMMMMMMM wonder where my priorities are. anyone else like this

Hmm.... this leads me to wonder... What type of batteries does your toothbrush use? Are they by chance 3.7v batts with a mAh rating over 180? :D If so.... I smell a mod with its own DOCKING STATION! If that is one of those electric toothbrushes with the little charging stand...

hmmm....

Dang it... Off to walmart again. :D

I have one with the charging stand and I think of that very thing every time I use it.

I modded my years old Sonicare toothbrush last year when it would no longer hold a charge. Had to do careful surgery with a Dremel to get it apart. Ordered higher capacity batts with solder tabs installed. Desoldered the batts and circuit board, reversed procedure with the new batts. Carefully epoxied the body back together such that it was perfectly sealed against moisture again and voila - killer toothbrush that goes and goes between charges.

I resist built in obsolesence wherever I find it!
