I have the distinct benefit of having my favorite juicetier live in the adjacent suburb, and he keeps a large stock of ingredients on hand so I can call him up and have juice the next day, or that night if he's not busy. I also call him friend, so rather than camping the mail man I get to have lunch/dinner with a really awesome guy.![]()
Your best bet is to look here on the forum, because there have been quite a few people that have posted negative reviews about flavors/vendors on the actual sites that never have seen their review posted. Also, with reviews on vendors sites, there is no discourse or follow-ups; so, I think your best recourse of action is to search the library that is ECF; or just gamble (which it all is anyway).
p.s. 5-10 reviews on one flavor is actually a lot, IMO.
Its not that I cannot find the reviews on here. It just surprises met that when I see how much people like a given product then see that the product has very few reviews. HHH shows a total of 34 reviews for 52 products.
Not a big deal, just an observation. Seams to me that people would give props to their favorites.
That's exactly what I am talking about! It's almost like the HOH thread, and that one has over 50,000 posts and 1,000,200+ views!
Hey new kid, it may be easier when sifting through these longer threads if you change your settings to 40 posts per page...if you haven't already done that? It was awkward at first, but now it makes so much more sense, and it is really easy to find where you left off.
How many reviews have you written on sites? I have written a total of one. I hear your point though.
Anyone else going to a lot of the vendors listed here and noticing they have shut down the juice portion of their site? I've gone to about 5 so far now that have stopped taking orders and list it as "until further notice." What's going on?
Well, Vapealicious is the only one I went to tonight. But also NiteLiteVapor. I have no idea what the others were. I went to about 15 different pages last night.
Thank you.
I think the ongoing issues with NLV have been mentioned on this thread, and on ECF ad nauseam.
Out of curiosity, I tried placing an order with them about a week ago, and immediately lost interest when I read on the home page all of this stuff about their being overwhelmed with orders. I decided that I wouldn't waste my time again visiting their site. Besides, with all their business, they have little need for my humble purchases. I'm certain that they make a good product, and certainly have a legion of fans who are loyal to them. As for me, there are enough great vendors who can manage their business well enough, and happily accept my orders, without having to subject customers to all of that unnecessary nonsense.
On a related note - and without making references to any particular vendor - it's fairly obvious to me that a lot of vendors are operating on a shoe-string, without the first clue as to how to successfully run and manage a business. That could be why you've run into the situation that you encountered. Just a guess on my part.
I understand your point, but I have a different perspective. Most of this industry is mom and pop shops. Without them we would be extremely limited in options.
There are many business that thrive on a high quality product at good prices which outgrows capacity faster than capacity can be increased. Also, increasing capacity can have a negative effect on prices (increases) or service quality. Some business will opt to not run that risk. Many small business startups run tight budgets and struggle to keep afloat. To make up for that they spend enormous time 12+ hours 7 days a week.
Small business is the backbone of the US. I will always support them when I can. I don't think any of these places choose to do things like back logging orders but they must to survive.
That said, I do understand your choice, been there myself. And I can assure you you are not alone in making the choice to not for businesses with them. I just feel you are being too hard on them without knowing the specifics of their business model and decisions they have been forced to make.

Your points are valid. However, (speaking as one who owns and operates my own business) if someone makes the decision to run a business, and is fortunate enough to build 'a better mousetrap', they need to be prepared to step up, and do whatever is necessary to ensure success - and the satisfaction of their clients. Good business practice is good business practice.
There's nothing wrong with individuals who modestly enter into business on a shoe-string (it worked for Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak). The success of most nations (certainly the US) were built on the foundation of the successful private entrepreneur. But demand for a product or service shouldn't serve as an excuse for poor business practices.
Now with my 2 cents and your 2 cents, we've got 4 cents - which makes us wealthier than we were before this dialog began.
Cheers my friend!
When listing your favorite vendors, how about also mentioning your favorite liquids from those vendors.
I'd personally appreciate the info.
