I understand your point, but I have a different perspective. Most of this industry is mom and pop shops. Without them we would be extremely limited in options.

There are many business that thrive on a high quality product at good prices which outgrows capacity faster than capacity can be increased. Also, increasing capacity can have a negative effect on prices (increases) or service quality. Some business will opt to not run that risk. Many small business startups run tight budgets and struggle to keep afloat. To make up for that they spend enormous time 12+ hours 7 days a week.

Small business is the backbone of the US. I will always support them when I can. I don't think any of these places choose to do things like back logging orders but they must to survive.

That said, I do understand your choice, been there myself. And I can assure you you are not alone in making the choice to not for businesses with them. I just feel you are being too hard on them without knowing the specifics of their business model and decisions they have been forced to make.

my $.02.

On second thought, I've decided to keep an open mind regarding NLV and the difficulty in placing an order with them.
I've just subscribed to the NLV thread, and hopefully, when they resume order taking, an announcement will be made there.
I'm old enough to have learned that giving someone the benefit of the doubt usually winds up in a more positive outcome.

I just received a package today from a recent order with Highbrow Vapor.
E Cig Juice @ *_Highbrow Vapor_* - E Liquid Store, Shop our Store for Ecig Products.

Despite the fact that the USPS apparently used the package to play a round of soccer, fortunately the contents was bubble-wrapped. Note the way the proprietor wraps the bottles in paper and finishes with a ribbon wrap.
It's touches like this that makes Highbrow one of my favorite vendors (but most especially because of their outstanding liquids). The Orange de Sangre they produce is in a class by itself! If you love the taste of fresh squeezed oranges, do yourself a favor and pick up a bottle of this elixir! Their customer service is also top notch!

I understand it will be next week, maybe Monday. Depends it they can meet their goal of clearing the current backlog this week. It is close though.

I don't know about dragon's teeth, but Ecblends has dragon's blood....

What an odd coincidence! As I was reading your (funny!) reply I just happen to be vaping on Dragon's Tear from EC Blends! No kidding!

On the subject of favorite vendors, I should include them as well. Their liquids are not as 'refined' as some I've had, but their prices and selection are very good. The more I go back to their bottles, the more I seem to be enjoying them. Also very good customer support.

Sorry, but I can only add a TOP ONE: NLV, without a doubt. Every single menu item is good, and yes, THAT good. With that said, I will give you my faves.

GOLD (like NO one knew that was coming)
Twilite
Bounty Hunter
Line Rider
Vanilla Straight

I have the distinct benefit of having my favorite juicetier live in the adjacent suburb, and he keeps a large stock of ingredients on hand so I can call him up and have juice the next day, or that night if he's not busy. I also call him friend, so rather than camping the mail man I get to have lunch/dinner with a really awesome guy. :)

I am officially and unabashedly jealous!

Thank you.

I think the ongoing issues with NLV have been mentioned on this thread, and on ECF ad nauseam.
Out of curiosity, I tried placing an order with them about a week ago, and immediately lost interest when I read on the home page all of this stuff about their being overwhelmed with orders. I decided that I wouldn't waste my time again visiting their site. Besides, with all their business, they have little need for my humble purchases. I'm certain that they make a good product, and certainly have a legion of fans who are loyal to them. As for me, there are enough great vendors who can manage their business well enough, and happily accept my orders, without having to subject customers to all of that unnecessary nonsense.

On a related note - and without making references to any particular vendor - it's fairly obvious to me that a lot of vendors are operating on a shoe-string, without the first clue as to how to successfully run and manage a business. That could be why you've run into the situation that you encountered. Just a guess on my part.

Oh, and welcome to NLV, Jerry. ;) :)

Here would be my top 5

1. NLV
2-5 (Simple alphabetical order here as these are all incredibly excellent vendors and I can not put one above the others...) Alien Visions, BackWoods Brew, Copper Creek, and my local store... All About Vapor (A local store here in Austin that has just recently added an online presence, but has a wonderfully talented and intuitive mixologist)

I have had good experience with ECBlends. As I search for flavors I like their prices and ability to customize their juices is hard to beat. I found my favorite juice so far there - Brandy with a shot of Blackberry. Got it on a whim, just about out of my second order of it.

I have only heard that those flavors are good from HHV, but I have not tried them myself. Heck, I have heard that pickle ejuice is good. ;) You could always check in the HHV thread. So, you got a peach tooth, huh? You may want to check out Ahlusion because I have read reviews that make me want to try them, and I don't even like non-tobacco vapes.

Sorry to be a bit off topic, but has anyone tried both Rawr and Heather's Heavenly Vapes peach flavors? I love both Rawr's Peach Fuzz & Island Peach and was wondering how they stack up compared to Heather's Just Peachy flavor

I'm not sure, but if Just Peachy is part of their 'Purity' line chances are you'll really like it. Last week I received 'Nice Pear', and while I couldn't believe I'd enjoy a pear-based e-liquid, this was really spectacular! Most significant is the fact that it tasted natural.

As for comparing it to Rawr's juices - I'd have to say that many of those that I've tried (Rawr's Sugared Peaches for example) have a very distinct character to them, that is unique to the Rawr line - which is good, but to my palette, not quite as natural tasting.

I posted earlier today that Highbrow Vapor (E Cig Juice @ *_Highbrow Vapor_* - E Liquid Store, Shop our Store for Ecig Products.) is one of my favorite vendors - for their stellar liquids, and incomparable customer service - and how much I love (and recommend) their unique Orange de Sangre. I wanted to offer an update on the three flavors that arrived this afternoon: Cheesecake Torte, RY4 and Strawberry Lemonade. Each of them a home run!
Please bear in mind that I've let none of these steep. All were fresh out of the box.

I've only purchased Cheesecake once (from a reputable vendor), but found the taste one-dimensional. The Cheesecake Torte from Highbrow was not only nuanced and flavorful, I swear I was eating a slice of the best Cheesecake I've ever had! This e-liquid had more depth and character than practically any e-liquid I've ever purchased. Remarkable, and highly recommended for desert lovers.

I like the concept of RY4 (tobacco enhanced with sweetness), and have purchased it from more vendors than I care to recall.
Unfortunately, for me, none of the recipes I've purchased quite hit the spot (usually too caramel-ly and / or weak tobacco). This RY4 is more up my alley. A somewhat spicy tobacco (lots of character) with a hint of sweetness. I've been told that some love this 'fresh' and others prefer it after it's steeped. I think I might be in the category of the latter - to smooth out a bit of the tobacco's edge. Either way, I've finally purchased an RY4 that I'm going to enjoy right to the end of the bottle!

Finally, Strawberry Lemonade. I don't know if Lemon is a difficult flavor to successfully pull off in an e-liquid (I don't imagine that it is), however, I'm convinced that Strawberry is as difficult to replicate as is chocolate - simply because I've NEVER had a strawberry e-liquid, from any vendor, worth a second vape... until today. THIS is truly a Strawberry Lemonade!... light, refreshing and it tastes REAL - especially the Strawberry! So good in fact that I'm tempted to chill the bottle and drink it. I'm going to check the Highbrow site and see if Strawberry is available as an individual e-liquid, because if it is, I'm ordering a bottle pronto!

If you've previously tried Highbrow, more than likely, you're a fan. If you haven't yet tried any of their e-liquids, do yourself a favor and check out their site. They've got a flavor for everyone's palette - and again, the customer service is exceptional. The hallmark of a vendor who cares about his business as well as his customer's satisfaction.

Cheers!

. . . I don't know if Lemon is a difficult flavor to successfully pull off in an e-liquid . . . .

I don't know either. But I tried a Lemon flavor from another vendor the other day and it tasted EXACTLY like Lemon Pledge!!! Gross!!!

I've got 8 bottles of Highbrow juice steeping in my closet right now. I can't wait to try some of them. It will be my first time to try any of Highbrow's juices.

Tomorrow I should find in my mailbox my order from BWB, malty and malty toffee. Any one tried these they are supposed to be awesome juices?

Those are the only juices that my husband swears by. I have tried them myself and like them both, though I am more of a fruits, candy and bakery type vape person. My husband won't vape anything else. :)

Isn't it wonderful that we have so many options? I would personally like to thank all the terrific juice vendors out there that have provided us with such a variety of unique flavors to choose from! I only wish I had the financial means to support all of them, lol.
That being said, my favorite vendors (so far) are as follows:

NLV- Gold, Vanilla Strait, Bounty Hunter, Renegade (in that order atm) are my favorites. A lot has been mentioned here about the difficulty customers have in placing orders through NLV. When I first started ordering from them, I did not have that difficulty. But it seems word has gotten out about the quality of their juice and it has become increasing difficult to try their juice. If you are looking for immediate gratification, I suggest you go elsewhere. If you are looking for quality, then NLV is definitely worth the wait. The thread for NLV is hard to sift through, but I would like to point out that there is no need to sift through the entire thread. It seems like there is always someone on the thread so it's simply a matter of popping in and asking when the site will be going live for ordering purposes. I should also point out that since their prices are so cheap, that it's probably a good idea to consider the 30ml size as a "sample size" since it could be another month before you are able to replenish a juice you love. You should also realize that you will need some patience while waiting for your order. The waiting period right now is 2-3 weeks between the time you place your order and the time you receive it. For new vapers without a big stash to hold them over, this wait can be daunting to say the least. To vapers who have a stash of juices this wait is well worth the effort!

BWB- I've always had good customer service with BWB and their juices have all been terrific. My favorites have changed over the last couple of years as my tastebuds have changed. I began with their waffles which is still my husband's favorite (actually his only) juice. My current favorites from BWB are the root beer and the BWB Blend. I also enjoy the Malty and Malty Toffee, which definitely taste better if they've had plenty of time to steep.

Copper Creek- Their House is very good, but I would also suggest trying out their danishes. My favorite is the blackberry danish, but I must say I also really enjoyed the apricot danish. This really surprised me since I didn't think I liked apricots, lol.

Vapealiciousjuice- I love their cinnamons! I really like the taste of hot cinnamon juices, but unfortunately I've had some health issues that can be attributed to some cinnamon flavored juices. The Flaming Pillows from vapealicious gives me that wonderful hot cinnamon flavor without the health issues. It is like cinnamon flavored marshmallows so it's not quite the "in your face" cinnamon you find from other vendors, but it's quite delicious.
