Top 5 vendors (e-liquid)

Been toking on Ahlusions Apple House Blend, Butterscotch and Chocolate Almond for a week. Flavor is good but like most vendors out there, too mild. I'm growing very, very tired of buying weak juices. I'm eventually going to end up mixing my own, it's inevitable. From now on I refuse to buy if the vendor won't do extra flavor. I need at least 150% I'm guessing. I was gonna try Rawr, but no extra there so I won't waste that cash. Think I'm gonna start a thread about it.

SM, do you mind telling me what pg/vg ratio you use? I am not implying that you are not tasting weak flavors for your needs, but I still would like to know what the ratio is.

I usually get 60/40 or 70/30. Most times I get one of each, or even the order up so I have same of both just to see if it makes a diff.

I don't know if you are through with Ahlusion or not, but Wad emailed me and said that he is perfectly happy to increase the flavor for anyone that is familiar with Ahlusion. He encourages all new customers to contact him before purchasing, which is why on each liquid page there is a "New To Ahlusion" tab. This is what the tab says:

"New to Vaping?
Please contact us before ordering with any questions you might have. Let us know what you use for your primary vaporizer and type/style of atomizer or cartomizer (including resistance). This helps us to learn more about your preferences and how to adjust our e-liquids accordingly."

I will contact Wlad and tell him that maybe he should amend that statement to say "New to Vaping or to Ahlusion?" (Even though the tab says New to Ahlusion, after clicking on it, most will see "new to Vaping" and stop there.) I am only telling you this because I was interested in finding out if there was a solution to that issue for you or anyone else in a similar situation.

***Important*** I mistakenly posted that Ahlusion's prices dropped when it is not entirely true. According to my computer/account, the prices did in fact drop. However, that is, I just found out, an automatic customer rewards program that get's implemented after you have purchased a certain amount from them. How much is that amount? I don't know, but I have purchased a lot. LOL

So, it is good news and no news.

I got my Ahlusion order in and something is off. I have been in talks with Wlad all day and he suspects that somehow there was an error in the processing of the tobaccos and they possibly didn't get cured for the necessary amount of time. I am getting a weird fume from the juice that wasn't there in the first batch; the tobacco is quiet and behind that mysterious, off-putting smell/taste. Does it suck for me to be in this situation? Well, it depends on how you look at it. Wlad has not said what some vendors would say, like "Sorry kid, I don't know what to tell ya'." We are working on a fix, and while I am not asking for my money back, I have no doubts that he will get me squared away--he's that kind of guy. The most important part of this experience is that he believes me.

The non-tobaccos I got, that I have tasted, are absolutely spot-on. Ole! (sangria), Blue Fairy (absinthe) are both incredibly delicious flavors for what they represent. Will I continue to vape them? That I don't know, but if I don't, it won't be due to the flavor being off, it's just that as much as I want to step out of my comfort zone, I am realizing that I came into that zone from outside of it and don't really see much need in returning. Once again, those flavors are incredible though!

p.s. It was very hard for me to write this as I have championed Ahlusion (and will continue), but in the spirit of honesty, I had to tell it like it T-I-S.

Sorry to hear about your experience with this particular order.
At least he didn't say (wait for it): "taste is subjective".
Kudos to this vendor for not making the assumption that his clients are fools.

On three occasions, with three different vendors (who I won't name) when I complained about problems with their flavors, they took a position of integrity and honor, and offered me a refund. Unfortunately, most other vendors I've had problems with, put the onus squarely on me... it was my fault that their products tasted poorly.

The owner of Ahlusion obviously embraces the age old credo that the customer is always right.
I was planning on ordering from them anyway, but having read this, I'll place that first order even faster - if for no other reason than to give them a vote of confidence. I will always support vendors who operate professionally, ethically and responsibly. If I don't happen to like an eliquid from a particular vendor, no harm done, and I'll happily write off the cost - just as long as the vendor takes a position of responsibility on behalf of their customers.

Oh No! What a disappointment for you. We ALL know (sheesh, believe me how well we all know ROFL) how much you were looking forward to this. Are you using new clean whatever-they-ares? No clogs or burning wicks in the equation in your haste to go into a vape coma? What is the off-putting taste/smell you're getting? I was just commenting on another question that I tried ECBlends New Red Box" and yes, it did smell like burning - but it was the burnt smell of scorched ironing! Am letting it sit for awhile. But as you say, your e-juice wizard Wlad is already on it, which is a great sign of a good vendor.

"ECBlends New Red Box"? That's a new one on me. Maybe it's supposed to taste like vaporized DVDs.

To reenforce the point I'm always ranting about (vendors and ethics) I actually do buy a lot of product from EC - most of which I wind up not liking very much - but I still support them with my orders. In the case of EC, even though I might not like many of their flavors, it's not because they're poorly made - it's just a matter of my personal taste. I also will continue to support EC because I feel that they're one of the most sincere and professionally run companies, always innovating and aiming to please.
