"Top" button doesn't go to the top

Using the "top" button near the bottom of the page doesn't go to the top of the page, but only to the top of the window, leaving the blue notification bar above what's on screen. Only happens with the new "E-Cigarette Forum" skin, others go all the way up.

Not a big problem, as the scroll bars work.

Works for me, as well, in Firefox 31.0

Which browser and version are you using? If it is a browser-specific issue it will help greatly for us to know which one(s) exhibit the issue

Firefox 31. Windows 7 Home, 64 bit, fully patched And several additions to FF, so one of them may be doing it.

I'm not running it full screen, so can't say exactly what size it is, and other skins I've tried (ECF1 and 2) don't show the problem - the notification bar shows when I click the button at the bottom right for "top." Just a small nudge on the scroll bar - which shows there's more on top - brings it down. Of course, they have a different layout.

As I mentioned, it's not a big deal to me. But I'd suspect a link to the wrong frame may be the culprit if the site's built with frames.

If I'm the only one with it happening, I'd say just forget it

Not just you DavidOck... I also have this problem. Just got used to it and forgot it was a problem

Win7/Chrome here... haven't tried it on FF though.

In the meantime, I'll keep tapping the scroll wheel after clicking Top

Noticed it right after the roll-out of the new layout (nice clean look!), but didn't think much about it. As you say, scroll wheels are great. And if in Chrome as well, then it's apparently not the add-ons to my FF.

just switched from ecf-1 - my preferred skin - to 'e-cigarette forum' to test and yes, top button stops short of the top

xp pro with latest edition of ff

That coincides with my experience - it only happens on the new "default" skin.

well, i got away from that 'default' early on but i wonder if those who reported no problems are really using the new skin or are basing their verdict of 'all is well' on the older skins!

ECF-1 is my preferred skin too--switched right back to it after the change. And the top button works just fine...

Very good point, tibs. I did try it in the new skin as well as one of the older ones before I posted ;-) I probably should have mentioned that
