Top coil houses juice beneath the coil and wicks up, bottom coil houses juice above the coil and basically relies on gravity to feed juice to coil. Less dry hits with bottom coil but in my experience there is a slightly higher chance of flooding. Also imo the kangers mute the flavor. there are better bottom coils out there for cheap.

I just ordered a 510 eGo Redux Clearomizer kit and it has a top coil (I think). One of the things that made me want to buy that one was seeing some videos of how it's more likely that a bottom coil will leak. I'm not sure if the reasoning is sound or not. Just what I heard. Guess I won't find out either way until it gets here :)

I agree now about the Kanger. It doesnt carry the flavor over very well.

They are top coil. I have a few of those and they work great. But between the redux and the V2s, ive had more leaking out of those because they are rebuildable and the plastic on them works loose and you have to keep pushing it back down(Just my experience so far). But most of the time if you take it apart and clean it well it doesnt leak very much.

So far I havent had any problems with the Kanger leaking. But Im not a fan of way you have to refill it. I guess because Im used to the others. But they dont allow the flavor to come through very well.

Have you tried loosening the tank from the head just a little less than a quarter of a turn? I got way more flavor and fewer dry hits when i did this, i was about to throw all three in the trash lol.
